bump this thread. I'm visiting Perth and will play Kennedy Bay, The Vines and Meodow Spring. Any better courses that I should consider ? From Melbourne. Tks for your input.

for Bobstev who put a review of Wembley on the course directory on the weekend a couple of items for clarification no public course in Perth offers concession green fees on weekends the deep roughs on both courses are being mowed this week. Unfortunately the ongoing rain meant it was delayed by 2-3 weeks more than planned, apologies for that

Araluen can be very good at this time of year, great layout with some spectacular scenery. The par 3 on the hill is special. Take the day off and enjoy the serenity!

Control is doing the shortest possible stroke to make the shot.

The twilight rate of $29 after 2.30 is the way to go

Araluen is looking good at the moment, I play it reguarly and the water issues should not be a problem this summer. Greens are in good nik but a little slow. They have a new course super who seems to be going hard at getting it back to its former glory. Meadow springs is a good layout and and Halls head is a quiet achiever. Best country track would have to be Kalgoorlie.

That's sound good ! I hope I can play there. Is there daylight saving in Perth and when does it start ?

unfortunately the cows can't sleep and the curtains fade so no daylight saving.
