It’s quite some distance between greens to tees. Last time I played,( VPGC), carts were part of the deal. I haven’t walked it myself yet.

2009 ISG Castlemaine Day – Handicap winner
2010 ISG Emerald Day – Handicap 3rd
2010 ISG Settlers Run Day – Handicap 3rd

http://www.golflink.com.au/...

I guess that answers that then.

It wasn't loading Francie, so I hit it twice! By the way its only taken me 3.5 years to make it to the 500 club! In 20 years or so I will be up to what you are at now!

why not add the green fees next to each course, would be interested to see that. You can play Albany, one of the best links courses in Oz for $27.50…..bargain!!

Consultancy….if you’re not part of the solution, there’s big bucks to be made prolonging the problem.

Hello mugcanic, That is a good point... I have played Albany GC and must say very enjoyable... For the price, there would be very few courses who could beat it.

Some quality golf courses listed by all. For what its worth my favourite 10 Public Access (as stipulated by Golf Australia i.e Coolum isnt 'Public Access'. 1 - Bonville Golf Resort - Best course going around! 2 - Moonah Links - Legends 3 - Lakelands 4 - Hope Island 5 - The Vintage 6 - Moonah Links Open 7 - Joondalup 8 - Robina Woods 9 - Tallwoods 10 - Brookwater (too many trees & way too hard for us amateurs) I'm yet to play the Barbougle courses, but from all accounts they will enter my top ten, however it will be hard for them to top Bonville.

I got the magazine recently aswell, generally a great way to plan some golf trips with. With the issue of 'New Entries', is it just me, but does there seem to be a hell a lot of them? especially in the 50+ area and a lot of these courses are courses that have been around a while. The issue I have, is that if these are new entries what are the courses that were before them and are no longer in the list?

Smashing list if courses Andrew. I found when I hit a few into the trees at Brookwater, it was a good way for me to see more of the course. hahaha

If Barnbougle and Lost Farm couldn't top Bonville, there's something wrong with your ratings.

Publish - they mentioned that they are yet to play them. It would probably be an assumption otherwise...

My list would be something along the likes of: 1. - Barnbougle Dunes 2. - Hamilton Island 3. - Barnbougle Lost Farm 4. - Vintage 5. - Brookwater 6. - Sea Temple 7. - Noosa Spings 8. - Kooindah Waters 9. - Paradise Palms It's not that easy coming up with an objective ranking though. I just think back and rank on how good the memories are :)

Max - I've only played Hamilton Island and Sea Temple on your list, and they were sensational. Both the Barnbougles are on this year's "to do" list.
