KH was in very good condition 2 weeks after the Masters. Today, I heard that KH has lots of bare patches due to lack of water. Is this true ?

I hope not. I'm playing there on Tuesday 18th (with Hot Fuzz & Smergen) I'm sure even if they do have some, it will only be minimal in the whole scheme of things. I'll report back that night.

Well with the government's relaxing of water restrictions back from 3a to 3, I'm pretty sure they'll have more water if anything. Although they would have been getting a special water concession for the major event (Masters). Like Francie said, I reckon it will be minimal. Now where do I go to get the inside word on how to play this course??

Correction about KH bare patches. It seems the fairway grass used tend to die off in cooler months.

That sounds right. More than likely the fairways will be light brown but the lies will still be perfect. 9 days to go.....:-))

Had an 87-73 yesterday Franc, with two triples on the back nine. Hopefully can keep that going and get rid of the bad holes before next week.

Good effort. I see you've got 10 games up on Golf Link, Smergs. I'm with you, on the "bad" holes. I've lost the good form really quickly of late and a little concerned with the driver at the moment. May need to work on that area in the coming days.

Well I'll only have one round between now and the heath and that's the last round of the CC. Not too worried about it all. I'm just looking at my own personal goal of breaking 100 there. Do that, and I'll be happy. Will most definitely be adopting the 'every hole is a Par 5' mentality...

Course was in amazing and immaculate condition, particularly given the time of year. There was some concern with the consistency of the bunkers, but I found them (unfortunately) to be pretty good. Will be writing a bigger review in another thread and posting photos so stay tuned.
