I understand and hope things work out. It's very market driven so value can go up and why people want to buy. But market can go down as well and people lose. The members need to work with new owner and adjust their thinking on what they feel they are owed. It won't be a fun period but the sooner they shed expectation they can move forward and enjoy what the faciliy
offers.

We will see more of this o think in coming years.

Could this be a power struggle for the control of the club, as suggested by a clever observer.

Let's say current share Value is worth $5k, maybe Eastern (keeping in mind how cashed up they are) could walk in and say we are not operating a share basis business any more, as a gesture of good faith all current HGGC share holders get two years free subs, or 12 months free subs and a generous pro shop voucher?

Doesn't matter anyway cause there's no turning back now on the new Eastern site

Why, no turning back TB ?

Well they are already building so I'm assuming all manner of contracts have been signed, wouldn't imagine there would be much of a get out clause

No Change Oz

The receiver just take over the running/admin of the club and charge a fee.

It will be put up for sale asap.

Interesting to see Eastern Golf Club retweeting an article about HGGC being placed into receivership, laying the boot in or genuinely reporting news for their followers??

Must make Eastern GC admin nervous, they're moving to an area that already has more golf clubs than it can support.

I don't think they will be worries out all, Eastern will still have a massive bankroll after they open

Could this affect their participation in pennant this year?
