no, The cavity backs had no direction…I bought the muscle backs on a whim and found that they go dead straight almost every time but I have sacrificed quite a bit of distance on mishits. I have dropped a stroke from my handicap so I honestly believe they were good for my golf and if I continue to put the practise in I’m sure I could do a lot better. I tried a mate’s Taylormade *R7 TP irons* the other day and they flew beautifully AND straight, best of both worlds. Am looking for something that falls between the 2 extremes!! Easy!?

I've gone with the r7 tp....one of the best irons I have hit, great length, good forgiveness and easy to work left or right....great balanced iron.

Haha, I pretty much did the same as you Wodda! I had big fat cavities, hated them for same reason... went to some beautiful Macgregor muscle backs, loved them when I was swinging well but wasn't consistent enough... then I went to a happy medium in MX-25s and then just moved on to MX-200s. The MX-25s actually look a bit better than the 200s at address & feel VERY similar but I'm obliged to keep the 200s as I didn't fully fund their purchase! Also, shoot me an email at dhills2 at hotmail if you are interested in my old 25s in the garage. They are 5-PW in reg DGSL but the 5 iron is actually a 6 iron bent into a 5 iron as I bought them 6-PW and then decided I didn't want to carry 3 hybrids! 5 iron also needs a 1/4 or 1/2 inch extender as the rest have been lengthened to std length for other OEMs (as you know Mizuno make shorter sticks to accomodate for the locals). live4, I'm surprised you aren't hitting some flashy new blades with your less than shabby HC!

Hi wodda if you can email to steven_kirsty at hotmail dot com. I am having issues viewing the pics you posted sorry. Also i read somewhere that mizuno clubs are shorter than most. Is this true?

I wasn't aware of them being shorter than most... I can measure one and let you know. Which club would you like me to measure?
