I didnt end up going on the day (bloody pissed off) and as they do the mates rubbed it right in telling me what a great course it is. Looks like i have to wait till April when they go again. One thing i got to laugh at them for was , They were spose to get a sleeve of callaway balls each but got a three pack of top flite balls lol .

Nah – just a corporate type offer running until the end of the month:

http://www.twincreeksgolf.c...

Callaway FT-5 Tour 8.5* Diamana Blueboard 73 X
Srixon M Steel 15* SV3008 S
Mizuno MP Fli Hi 18* DG X100

How happy would you be if you've dropped the $22k entrance fee for Twin Creeks based on it being an exclusive private members course and having to deal with joe public filling in a web form and being able to play on a saturday?????

Hey GolfCasual....if you're referring to my comment, I'll try and explain it another way . Say you dropped $22k to join TC's on the basis of it being an exclusive private club. Then I come along and take advantage of an online special allowing joe public and his 3 mates to come and play on the weekend, have lunch and basically have all the benefits of membership. How would you as a member who's paid $22k for the privelege feel about that? i.e) Where's the benefit of being a member and what exactly do you get for it?

Had a round here this morning - definitely a fine course in top nick. Greens were great, nice layout, friendly staff...only thing missing were the other players (only about 3 or 4 groups as far as I could see). Would definitely like to play there again if time permits.

Shot 87, shory...I was aiming to break 90 in the first place, so was pretty happy. I was playing with the guy who sold me my 18* Fli Hi, and he was rather astounded at what I could do with it...although I was actually hitting my driver pretty well for once. Iron play was mostly rubbish - if I'd hit some more accurate approach shots, I reckon I could have broken 80. Definitely go next month if your mates are still planning to. The bunkers are in play, but not too difficult to avoid.
