Played in a stableford match today at my home course and ended up with a 82 off the stick... should have been better though.. This whole CCR thing is just crap. i play off 14, shoot 39 points and my handicap doesn't move...... anyway. some of my stats below 29 putts 5 pars 2 birdies 1 eagle <- 2nd eagle for me and atleast this one was off a good shot... the eagle came when my first shot was over the trees on a dogleg left but didn't quite make the fairway.. i'm 50m out, pin at the back... i knew the shot was going to go high because of the rough.. As the ball is in the air i'm telling it to "go go". made it over the bunker, must have hit the downslope that leans onto the green, ran up and into the hole... front 9 i was even par up until the 8th hole where i went bogie, double bogie. and had only 7 putts between 1 and the 7th hole. sitll working on my swing, more so mental than physical... but all going in the right direction.

I'll tell you tomorrow night! Last week I was so dosed up on cold and flu drugs that I couldn't add up my mate's score card. I was a mess. I shot six over - half my handicap. My mate worked out that if I had sunk every putt that just missed or that lipped out, I'd have gone around in two over. Then there's the two balls I sent out of bounds, too! I don't get it. I'm cold and flu free now, so I'll probably shoot a million over.

Played yesterday good. Bad start though. Scrub first with a 6. Then had 3 birdies and an eagle myself. Eagle came on short par 4 where hit gap wedge in and flew past whole and then sucked back into the cup. Got card back on track and played well from there. Just a few missed 4fts only downside. But overall very happy.

I had a great drive and a 90m pitching wedge for an eagle on Sunday. Gosnells , 5th hole - 313m Unfortunately comp was a par so still only counted for a + as would a birdie or par.
