Mike Clayton – the man, the designer, the critic.

What don’t you like about Clayton?

The little boy who never grew up

His hatred of trees on golf courses.

His disdain for others that don’t share his viewpoint.

His mumbling whenever he does a radio spot.

I dont think he has a hatred of trees...I think he has a hatred of trees that are ruining the hole

i hate it when i'm about to take a shot some random wildlife just loves to run into the path. although i know i probably won't hit it, it's just plain distracting. mother nature! /sigh

PP, I think Clayton views every tree as belonging to a park not to a true golf course. To him only links golf is real golf. I share a different viewpoint. Everyone is entitled to theirs.

What course is really up tight in Kangarooland? I feel the urge to rent a cart, get pissed, and toss some clubs on a nice, slow, relaxing round. And have a nice fat cigar.
