Ok, who's up for a bit of a weight loss competition? I want to lose some. Competition and having to report my progress each week should make me think twice about eating crap. I'm suggesting 40 days starting instantly. Biggest % loss on the 16th March wins. Winner gets voucher to all-you-can-eat joint. Yeah right. Winner gets nothing as comp will be based on honesty and prizes encourage cheats. Improvement in health and most importantly golf endurance is award enough. Don't be shy - you know you need to lose some.

Now my head is spinning! There was some dude that posted on another topic about returning to golf after loosing 60 or 80 kg or something like that! Can anybody remember reading it? Or what his name was? Cos i rekon his diet is the one to go on.

yeah steb, I'll play with you. I'm notoriously hopeless at losing weight and i have a week on the piss..sorry i meant a week of golf.... in Tassie on 1 March, but i'll play anyway. Weigh in first thing in the morning. I could cheat and go back on the medication that the psych had me on recently. I lost 5 kilos in a week, but then i was only sleeping about 2 hrs a night and looked like a zombie, so we won't go there. I'll kick it off tomorrow. as long as you use the same scales every time then accuracy isn't that important. I can change 2 kilos from one end of the day to the other without doing much at all !!

From memory he had his stomach stapled! perhaps a bit radical for these purposes. I will join in , need to lose some more anyway.

You da man HC. You've made me remember I've got a week of piss golf coming up too but maybe this will make me be just a little bit better. Weigh-ins first thing in the morning. One when you start, then every Monday after. I'll pop a leaderboard into the first post.

What about a converse competition...putting on weight in that time, as i struggle to put on weight...im underweight
