**SOLD**This is the Taylormade 540 driver that I won here on ISG & Peter Lonard.com,unfortunately it's just not the right setup for me so I thought I would give ISG 's a chance to score a state of the art driver.

It's equipped with a Fujikura Speeder 757 stiff flex,a new Golf Pride tour velvet grip and the loft is 10.5.A new 500 series headcover comes with it.This shaft is worth around $400 alone if you can find one in Australia.
I taped this driver up and hit a bucket of balls with it and you can not even tell it's been hit, perfect condition.

I was'nt sure what to ask for this driver, the competition details say it's worth $2000 with the upgraded shaft but all offers will be considered so don't be shy. smile.gif

To be honest jarro I don't think they are an improvement over the 300 series but they have'nt gone backwards either.I hit this one the same distance as my 320 tour.
As far as ballflight is concerned I thought I would hit a 10.5 to the moon but the Speeder does seem to give my drives a nice flat trajectory, high but not ballooning.
This all came from 1 bucket of balls so take it with a grain of salt.

Rusty,I really don't think I've given myself enough time to get to know the shaft  but when you nut it this combo feels great.Although I'm not swinging great at the moment  .

Actually I just sold my 320 tour yesterday (god knows why) ,so I'm driverless.
My Cobra 350 Tour is on Ebay and is refusing to sell,so I'm looking.
Interested in the 983E,R300 Tour and 300 Tour but at a minimum $650 US the 300 Tour is out of my price range.
I'm gunna go back to the Prolite in my next driver whichever one I get,I've been disappointed by a lot of shafts lately but the Prolite really delivers for me.

gaz...I'm in the same boat (re: shaft and head)...

I've been looking at ben's site for a suitable driver head...so that might be the way to go??? Hate to see the shaft collect dust...might as well put it to good use...
