17/21 for 38 with another poor putting display of 35 putts. Driving continues to improve although a long way from good. Being saved by some good iron play.

Now on to next weekend with Weetie and the sartorial elegance of Bump! :D

Stroke Monthly Medal around Beaufort. Tale of two nines.

Started with a two chip 3 putt on the first hole for a triple bogey 6 which didn't get me into a good frame of mind. Was nearly going to walk off after the 5th, but scrambled my first par, and was 11 over the card after the 7th. Then worked within my limitations (chipping yips avoided by started hitting fairways and greens) and went 1 over for the remaining 11. Finished 82 - 13 - 69 to finish runner up.

Didn't putt well all day, but was happy that I could turn around what was a disasterous start. Going have to spend some time on my chipping off tight lies.

37 points today at Sandy Creek and it was blowing a gail out there which is odd.

17/20 with 3 wipes, daily HC was 24

Irons, chipping and putting is really letting me down but thats expected after only a few rounds under my belt after a 4 year lay off

38 18/20
Wiped the first & it felt like a bad day ahead. Drove poorly all day, 2 only were OK.
Back 9 played some good iron shots to grab 3 pars & 2 birdies.

How was the course playing?

10th back in play at full length...all looks great now, mowing & 2nd cut on fairways is nice. Still plays soft & long with green receptive and slowish to putt on. Bunkers all back in play.

4BBB Par at Warra today (actually a 2B).
Partner & I had +3 which was miles off the money. I scored on 9 holes, had five 1-putts on those. A few wayward drives didn't help.

Traralgon Plate tomorrow.

Into town for a 50th birthday tonight. I'd better behave myself, grog wise, and get home early.
