Byron is a nice track, however it is no Shores or Mur-bah. The two best tracks on the Far North Coast by a long way. |

Topic: Golf Talk / What if you could only have 12 clubs? I’d probably drop 3-wood and 54 wedge. I hit an OK half PW which (with a bit of practice) could probably substitute the 54, and hit a 5 wood a lot straighter than 3 wood any way. So I’d have Driver, 5w, 3-PW, 60*, Putter. |

Topic: Golf Talk / ISG Golf Competition Well…to be fair I’m investigating whether I can get a hit at Royal Adelaide when I go there, but it would only be a social hit. Plus I have a game lined up with some mates at Cypress Lakes later in the month…so I’ll be playing some golf, but not comp is all :) So I’ll nominate next weekends round instead. Easy. |

Topic: Golf Talk / ISG Golf Competition I need a ruling guys… Yesterday my round got washed out after 9 holes – the club called us all in due to rain and lightning and in the end we couldn’t go back out. It was a real sh*t because I was 19 points after 9… So what do I do for the comp? If it ends up being just 1 round for Sept/Oct then this was the round I nominated and technically I NCR’ed. If it is 2 rounds then I’m in a pickle because next weekend will be the only round I’ll have for the rest of the month (going on holidays, no clubs coming). I played the weekend before, however I didn’t nominate it as a round for this comp (and it is a bit unfair on everyone else nominating a 37 point round after the fact). Sorry to complicate things…I’m happy to go with the flow… |

Topic: Golf Classifieds / Yes! Callie Putter for sale I paid $175 plus postage when I bought it on here. I’ve used it only a few times – probably want around the same given it is the forged model and not the ordinary one. Let me know if you want photos or any other info. |

Topic: Golf Talk / ISG 2008 PGA Tour Tipping - Changes Thread What if those who have less than 3 players get the cut score for each player they are short of 3? So if you have two players, you get those 2 players plus the cut score? Or even the highest score out of the players in the field? |

Topic: Golf Talk / ISG 2008 PGA Tour Tipping - Changes Thread Isn’t that kinda the point Kyle? You manage your team to make the best use of the 10 points. To you, keeping Sergio is making the best use of the 10 points…but to now want exemptions in order to keep Sergio and get a better team around him is a tad unfair to those who have had to give up players through out the year in order to improve AND stay within the 10 points. Although his results throughout the year would suggest keeping him was a good move, perhaps the amount of points he is taking up in your salary cap suggests maybe you should have traded him earlier… |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Titleist Driver Comparison. I prefer my D2 over my old R…however I believe that could be down to the shafts. Had a Stiff V2 in the R, have the Aldila VS in the D2. Hit the D2 much much better. Jarrod – why on earth did you get a D1? It is an awful club… |
