z blended are a nice looking set of blended irons. But they are very slim and small, targeted at low markers i think. Some of the sweetest looking irons iv ever seen.

This is what I concluded, they don’t make the best mixed set and the AP2’s are plenty forgiving already.

I got mine a few weeks back, they are great, I got a combined AP1/AP2 iron set, I just ordered the AP2 3-5 irons to replace the AP1’s as the AP2 irons are forgiving enough and I think the AP1 topline is too thick.

Might want to be careful doing that.

Comparing the 5 irons the AP1 has 1° less loft, 1° less bounce and different offset. Not the best clubs to mix and match IMHO, at least not without a bit of work.

Mizunos are a great club no doubt about that. Id try demo a set if it was me. The MP 57s are pure. There is an ebay seller in aus that sells MP57s for about $800 with any specs you want. They are verified to be legit. So if you can work out what shafts and length you need, its a good option and much cheaper.

I thought they were OK as irons. I prefer my macgregor cavs tho. I hit em with PX 5.5s. Distance was a little shorter than my macs with RF 5.5s. Very nice looking irons though. Fairly muted sound at impact though, i prefer a nice crack from a forged iron when struck well.

A mate of mine ordered his 8 weeks ago and picked them up last week, they look awesome(better than the pictures) and they feel fantastic, even off centre hits fly. The only criticism he has for them is that they seem a little shorter (in distance hit) than his previous sets, but they make up for that with feel.
