I recently played at Ryde Parramatta on a day when it only stopped raining to absolutley bucket down.
I found the course to be very challenging, very pretty to the eye and well layed out with lots of sand, water and tricky greens.
the fact that it was the Holden Scramble and we got cheated by 1/3 of a shot, didn’t dampen my opinion of the course

I am a Golf Club Ho in rehab, 1st Baby due before Xmas and new house 2 months ago. The handbrake had to be applied, I still wander around golf shops and dream, but it does get easier as time goes on, honestly it does, it really does, believe me!!!!
Ah who am I kidding, I miss being a Club Ho, help me guys, any advice???

is anyone out there aware of the rules concerning the Holden Scramble?
I recently played in the Ryde Parramatta Scramble and whilst going around, we noticed several groups of 3 playing by themselves. I would have thought any group of 3 playing in a 3 man ambrose event without a neutral scorer would be open to rorting or at least questions of their legitimate scores.

another issue has come up,
I am also leaking my mid to high iron shots out to the right. its not a block right just a fade in the air.
I play off 19 so I am consistently inconsistent, I can hit shots that Tiger himself would stand and applaud, but I also hit shots that make me look worse than a South Sydney cheer girl.
I would appreciate any ideas on not only this but any Books or articles out there that I could read on improving my Wedge game

I have just finished a comp game, and i took out a demo TM Burner 15deg with stiff shaft for a hit, after hitting it approx 8 times in my round and flushing it straight and true, I am impressed. .....BUT….. the problem seems to be distance, I was only hitting it approx 200m which is less that what i hit my 19deg TM Rescue.
I believe the problem is obviously not the club, but my steep entry to the ball and therefore creating too much back spin on the ball and throwing it up too high.
I am after any easy tips on flattening out my swing as this seems to be a continual problem with fairway woods which is leaking over to some of my drives.
sorry for the long winded story but I need help and thought giving as much info as posiible would be helpful

People who think they are better golfers then you because they did this or that 5+ years ago on the high school golf team.

Private course members on public courses. Stay the hell on your private course if you are so miserable playing with us common folk.

ANY league nite. I’m paying damn good $$$ to be a member at the course. I don’t expect to not be able to play the course three days a week because there is league play

People who think they need to regulate your golf game. I’m out there enjoying a round with my wife. Leave us alone. We aren’t following the rules. Get over it.

mine is guys who repeat the same stupid one liner all game.
I recently played with an old guy who thought he was the funniest guy who ever swung a club, I was unfortunately having an ordinary Putting game (leaving most putts short on our Furry greens) and every time I did leave one short, he would pipe up with ” looks like we’ll have to get this guy some Viagra, he can’t get it up to the hole”
I would have accepted it if he beat me that day and moved on, but he had 17 points with 8 wipes.
Maybe I just need to toughen up but I will not take crap from someone who obviously doesn’t have a clue.

A mate of mine ordered his 8 weeks ago and picked them up last week, they look awesome(better than the pictures) and they feel fantastic, even off centre hits fly. The only criticism he has for them is that they seem a little shorter (in distance hit) than his previous sets, but they make up for that with feel.

I am 191cm tall and because of my long arms, I only have 1/2 inch above standard but 2` upright, so everyone is different. Go and get clubfitted by a qualified fitter.
I use the Srixon I-601’s and have never been happier with irons.
There is no substitute for Lessons though, shop around and try a few Pro’s for lessons, some you click with, some you just won’t get.

Hibore original and Sumo2 are the 2 best I have hit. better than Taylor made, Srixon and Titliest which I have also tried but seem to hit the other 2 longer and straighter.
But I would suggest going to your local golf shop and hitting as many as you can, they will all feel different to you than they do to me.
