Judge, You are correct about “the new kid on the block” going well. It seems many have deserted ISG and thats where they have gone. At least you and I are still here! :-)

Not a bad idea Fyrippy but even if you do invite people around why do they get censored and not even get a snag from the barbie? Poor old Salacious Crumb has had a few posts deleted as has Jack and a few others….. I detect a bit of sensitivity about the place.

OK , Admin, at least I know you are on to it.

I still dont “love” the new site but will plug on for a while to see if it “improves”.

I do notice though, that every time I log on, there are only 10 or so names listed as being on line. Either thats wrong or there are a heap of guys gone missing.

I agree with JJJ and I only want to see new posts in forums that interest me.

Why is it so vitally necessary to have to log in every time I visit the site? The “remember me” button is useless.

The font is much smaller when reading “recent posts” than it is when browsing the forums.

I honestly think its gone backwards though boys.

And these boxes to type in are too bloody small.

Kan Johnson has weighed in and plenty of other commentators over the weekend have got no idea either...

How come the second bloke into a pack can just jump all over the man with the ball (who is presumably trying to get it out), and be rewarded with a free for holding the ball. All he has done is jumped into a pack and made sure the bloke with teh ball cant release it. A joke.

I've been watching the AFL (VFL) on a regular basis since the late sixties and when I go to the footy these days I just see so many umpiring decisions I just dont understand any more.
I was at the MCG today and there are now far too many decisions that defy description. And I'm not taking sides here - I am talking decisions that favoured (or didnt) both teams.
The new "hands in the back" rule is there and then it isn't. The "holding the ball" rule is a joke.
Rocca gets paid a free for some sort of pushing (or whatever) but Bolton is penalised for something similar.
Mark Johnson almost takes a mark, Rocca arrives a few micro seconds later and grabs it and is awarded a mark (which has been clearly touched. Lloyd was paid another "push" from Clement early on. Etc, etc etc...
What the f#*k is going on??

I ventured down to the big smoke again today to see the Bombers for the fourth time this year and let me inform you we just aren't any good. Sure we will win our share but we got done today by a side who arent much better and they are now talking premierships!!

The match committee have a lot to answer for in retreating to 2006 and selecting Bolton and Bradley. When pace was missing through injury (Winderlich and Jetta) who did we get? Those two

Add Jason Laycock to the mix and its obvious. And Watson is a great handballer but lousy kick.

And Hille's absence caused (in the end) for Ryder to go into the ruck and Cloke got into the game.

At least we have Gumbleton Hislop and Bouli to debut and we may have the makings for a decent team next year.
Positives...plenty.
Davey, Stanton, Fletcher, Ryder, McVeigh. And with JJ and Welsh to return we will win a few more.
But a bad day grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
