BURGULARS
they are everywhere and infect every golf & social club in this country.
the easy thing about burgulars are they are found out very early.
guys who protect their handicapp and pull up when things are going well are the people you dont want to play with.
ive seen it and know well all the cheats in our club,these dopes get especially active around championships.

if your having a super round and play 5 to 10 shots under your handicapp good luck,these games happen to most golfers when through some freak of nature your whole game comes together these games dont last long as your handicapp and ability to play the game will sort you out in the long run.

i work weekends and have tuesday off so its like my saturday arvo for golf.
ive found carnarvon,strathfield & ashlar have open comps
just wanted to get some feed back on other courses around sydney that offer a nice relaxed round of golf on a tuesday where you can put a card in.

Nahhhh, just dislike Hall and his dinosaur ways…Thankfully the club (Sydney that is) is taking it seriously…and 7 weeks is pitiful, he got a 25% discount for pleading guilty?...he was referred straight to the tribunal…the Tribunal is a JOKE, Barry Hall is a thug and that sort of crap needs to be exterminated from AFL.

I despise Barry Hall…especially living in Sydney. When he was a Saint he was hated in NSW but now he is a Swan he is a god……

i dsagree plugger was hated 10 fold more than hall before he moved to sydney

he is a dirty player who has lacked skill for a number of years.

he cops a harder time from apponents and umpires than any forward playing the game presently
he has cleaned his act right since moving north after playing for the most dysfunctional footy club in melbourne

the way he is perceived in the media it makes him look like an angel…

he has done alot for the profile of afl in sydney like plugger,he is a draw card and has done heaps for footy up here.

he is dirty and the game could do no worse if he did the right thing and retired…I am sure there are a few Swan’s supporters who would like to see his 1 game on, 4 games off level of play.

i would take barry hall any day over the likes of gherig or lloyd
you have to remember he is a premiership winning captain.
even though saturday night king hit was a dumb thing to do.
what he has done on and off the pitch far out weighs saturday nights punch

about 4 years ago i was playing c grade pennants at eastlake
cant remember the hole exactly.but its a long par 5 about round the 14th/15th
i hit thing out of my $%*(
it was to this day the best drive i have ever nailed
cant remember how long it was
but my second shot just missed the green left.

to this day i have hit anything like it

this might only relate to people in nsw ,but our golf club has deciced to replace the resches tap from the bar due to slow sales over the bar.
resches used to be a tap beer drinking institution in nsw for many years.it shows that that era must be slowly dieing off.
for the record there replacing it with pure blonde.tasted like shit anyway.

Have been with them now for just over 12 months.

Heads and shoulders above the service I was getting at Telstra.

if you need a phone service to run a business with

I think congratulations are in order to the ABC for their coverage of the Women’s Aust Open at Kingston Heath. I think that Aussie golf coverage is vastly superior to US coverage, as in you actually get to see heaps of golf and insightful commentary on course design, strategy and the players. Also, unlike channel 7, there was uninterupted coverage of the playoff. With the waning commercial interest in Australian golf maybe ABC coverage is the way we are heading???

hitting balls at night, while a fraction intoxicated, trying to hit over the Murray with a 7 iron. Thought they were nearly getting there until we got up in the morning and found half the balls on the near side sand bar!

i had 6 months off and did it wonders.
its hard to watch and not play, but its the only way to really heal the injury.
try physio and massage,but total rest is the real answer
