Topic: Vision golf balls

Hi Guys, glad you are taking an interest in our balls.

We are currently working on the Australian distribution to make it easier to buy them but a lot of the club pro’s don’t see the merit in our product yet. Rebel Sports will have them in most of their stores within a week and please ask your club pro’s to get some in as they need players to ask to justify their stocking them.

The balls are something different and we feel they can make a
difference to most players so long as you play the right model.
Xpert for players looking for a little more control around the green and the big number balls for good feel but long straight distance.

We also sell direct to help out during these early days and my
address for contacts is listed on the website. Plus as we get new stockists we will add the info to the website.

Thanks again for taking an interest in our story.

I just used the Vision Xpert ball this weekend, hit some hiuge drives, was soft around the greens, also very durable and I qualified 2nd in our clubs champs, go vision!

The Vision ball is a tad longer than a ProV1 for myself. I cannot get a ProV1X to fly at all:) The Vision Xpert is a lower spin balls for sure.

Click on the Vision ball link on the right hand side of the page there and contact them for your local seller would be a quick way to find out where they can be found.

Hi everyone,
I have just had a few rounds with these yellow golf balls. The y are just great to see and find. They really seem to glow! I am not so sure of the ultimate performance compared with the prov1x I ahve been using, especially off the putter. I think they are some metres shorter… maybe their X-pert will be alittle closer to the Prov1x??
Anyway, anyone else tried them. I am going to find it hard to stop using them just based on the “findability”

I bet you guys have some classic CHOKING stories to share.

A couple of years ago, for the first ever, I was below par after 15 holes. I then scored bogey, bogey to drop back to even par after 17, still a personal best.

Then on the par-4 18th I scored an 8. Good drive, then approach in the bunker, third stayed in the bunker, fourth skulled over the green, chip on, three putts. sad.gif

1998 at Royal Melbourne. I was invited by a friend for a charity day.

1st hole. A lot of people waiting for their turn to tee off. A few people already tried to hit drivers or woods and 'drove' them to the ground towards the front rough.

I was afraid of embarassing myself so I took a 5 iron from the bag. Had a few practice swings. I setup to hit the ball, takeway, got nervous on the downswing, dropped my head and shoulders..., took a big chunk of turf off the tee and...

TOTALLY MISSED THE BALL! IT WAS AN AIRSWING! IN FRONT OF HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE!

The guy calling the names definitely didn't appreciate it. He's probably a member. There were a lot of sighs and oh no's, and probably a lot more than that. I know they're thinking 'It's gonna be a long day with this %$#*head in front of us!'

Was it a choke? Definitely one of the most embassing moment in my life... blink.gif

Biggest choke...Playing at Eastwood in 2002 in a Stableford comp

24 points after 9 holes and 31 points after 11 holes. After one of the group kept reminding me that I "had a good round going here" and "don't stuff it up" the remainder of the round consisted of...
12 Wipe
13 Wipe
14 Wipe
15 1 point
16 1 point
17 2 points
18 1 point

Resulting in a neat 36 Stableford points for the day. The clown that was telling all about how good my round was going then proceeded to tell me that I had "laid down" to protect my handicap. The "captain" of our group had a quiet chat to him around the side of the proshop.

Courty I hate to ask but whats a double plugger????

You are kidding me, right?
Double-pluggers are thongs, flip-flops, jandals... the thing Mick Molloy is holding (special QLD model with spikes) in my avatar...

The ubiquitous footwear of choice north of the border.

I have at times wondered about the 'pants dropping', i'd always thought that if you were embarrassed about the shot, you'd be more embarrassed about droppin em and forget about the crap shot!!!!
Perhaps I have been a bit naive . . .????
apparantly Sydney does have the highest gay population after San Francisco . . .
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

burger,

Thus explains the difference between us old fashioned Melbournians and you Sydneyites. You guys drop your pants (should I be surprised)? When we fail to make the ladies markers off the tee, the perpetrator must shout a jug in the bar.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

In our Social Club's Club Championships I lost on a countback after scores of nett 66, 65 and 81. not happy Jan!

A few years later I lost the final which was now matchplay after being 4 up after 4 holes...

I also have another 1st losers trophy somewhere as well, 3 times the bridesmaid, never the Bride!
