Topic: Sports Talk / Didak - unsubstantiated rumours start The police have stated several times that they found a piece of paper with “Alan Didak 0400 000 000” on it in Hudsons posession and that was the original link. |

Topic: Sports Talk / AFL 2007 Season why would I be jealous of Bryce Gibbs when we have Pendlebury and Thomas? the fruits of another spoon don’t interest me, especially when the likes of Selwood that went 6 picks later are far better performers. |

Topic: Golf Talk / US Open good for golf? The greens are not unduly penal IF the player hits it from the right place to the right place.agree with most of what you say except this bit, on some holes it appears the ‘right place’ to hit from is now covered by rough. Perhaps the first cut could be a touch bigger? I’m all for punishing wayward driving, but if someone misses a fairway by a foot or gets a bad kick off the edge – - I don’t believe they should be in the same rough as the bloke who pumps it 20 m off target. |

Topic: Sports Talk / AFL 2007 Season its the coaches fault – nothing to do with the players being very average and very soft. A bunch of kids got beaten up by a younger bunch of kids, so perhaps the blues kids are a bit of a false hope? |

Topic: Sports Talk / afl.com Dream Team I’m still on top in this league, but even though I’m running 4th in the Herald Sun league my side over there is dominating and is now inside the top 300 in the entire competition. think i’m playing the train next week, time to give him is first loss. |

Topic: Sports Talk / Collingwood 2007 I’d agree that he’d be handy in the coming weeks, but keeping him on the list wasn’t an option. Who could have known Presi, Clement and O’Brien would all be gone at once? never really rated him, never really saw a reason to hate him either – good honest toiler who lacks the size and talent of his siblings. He was good in 02 as a floater and did beat a few opponents in 2003, but nothing more. |

Topic: Sports Talk / Collingwood 2007 Rocca certainly entered every marking contest with one arm, but he still should have showed some discipline and not just given away soft ones in return. Some woeful decisions both ways, the Johnson goal after Brock threw the ball at the chair after a poor kick from Wheatley was a shocker – apparently you have to deliver it to the boundary umpire with a cherry on top? However, the crucial ones really cost us – 2 deliberate rulings that lead directly to goals, not to mention Robbo pushing Toovey out with both hands in the last quarter when the game was really on the line – disgraceful stuff. Generally happy with the effort – no Clement, no Presti, no O’Brien, no R.Shaw and H.Shaw on one leg – that doesn’t put the backline in a good position, especially with a first gamer and 3 blokes with less than 7 games. (I tipped Melbourne) |
