yeah agree with all the above 4person amby can be very dodgy unless independants mark the cards. very hard to ensure/check everybody has had 3 or 4 legit drives when in a group of 4.

as a side to original post i played in a 4person amby (m/m/m/m or m/m/f/f/ your choice) a couple of weeks ago. am shotgun then a pm shotty. we played pm. ne how get to the presso & the prizes 1,2,3 for best all day m/m/m/m & 1,2,3 for m/m/f/f for best all day no prob with that…..but get to the winners & a dude(cheat) gets up for the winning group male section played in the a.m then they get to the mixed winners & lo & behold old matey from the male section cleaned up the mixed as well playing with a new group in the arvo! we all looked at each other & said wtf!

re: old blokes putting on seniors events & punters turning up etc.

wouldnt have anything to do with the robots that play the game now (young fellas) they get a birdie & just walk over to their bag. whereas the old boys interact with the crowd like the old days the way it should be. old boys show their character get the crowd involved then finish into the 19th & on the piss back up the next day & do it all again. no diet plans strength & conditioning workouts just good golf shots & personallities.
