Your body including feet will be a little stiff n sore due to movements and pressures that its not used to, no matter how fit n active you are. Especially the bones n ligaments in your feet n ankles. Your body will adapt and become more tolerant so to speak and the soreness wont be much of an issue after a month or so. A foot spa with a hard massage adapter is good to use occasionally. Ronson Ultimate Foot Spa has a good attachment. In my op good golf shoes all the while being good for your play will create more resistance therefore more stresses. Look after yourself and the soreness period will be over before you know it. Best of luck, picked a great sport!

Rest the shoulder as much as pos for the next week or so the cortisone will do wonders if your patient. 2 laps freestyle 2 laps kickboard with flippers, when fitness improves increase freestyle laps and or intensity, keeping with kickboard for recovery. Alt kickboard prone/supine.

Though i dont know you well, ill work with what i have.
Do what u can to excel to a greater level playing at your current course, become sharper in areas where possible, spend a little extra time at the gym you mention, but dont just ‘go’ to the gym, push it a bit, improve fitness. At your level its things like health/wellbeing that are going to have a telling impact on your standard of play rather than hitting 400 balls a day. Try this and make the most of your current course for now.

Eastlake have usually got some deals. Not that close by though. Also Woolooware has no join fee and pro rata rate till march or so, but double check. Good reciprical value is somethong should look for as well, and the best for that is Mollymook, they have Monash, Belmont, Springwood all full rate unlimited, tons of half rate courses inc Moss vale, Blackheath, pretty sure most south coast courses, plus u now also get troon courses. Worth the trip down once or twice a month too.

Hi anfield try placing more of your left thumb on the grip, some can control how much right hand is involved by how much of the left thumb is ‘on’ the club during swing, experiment with this to control shot shape. Also maybe try thinking ‘nothing to quick’, as in movements, during swing.

Diaphram (deep) breaths, if strongest and deepest was a 10 id make it around a 7 or could have opposite effect, before every stroke. Usually 2-3 is enough to lower both heart rate and blood pressure within 10-15 secs, has a great physiological effect. To test effect try shallow breathing in shot preparation!

Hi mekat the cortisone will have a much better effect with around 2 weeks rest after the injection, idealy keep that arm from elevating above shoulder height, managed correctly u will only ever need the 1. All the best.
