I just noticed in the U.S that callaway have brought out a range finder…... www.callawayrangefinders.com they look pretty good if yuo have a spare $600 to spend…..they are very useful…I played golf with a mate recently who had one….they are great! I just cant justify spending $600 on it, I rather spend it on lessons!

Id recommend a set of Taylor made rac os2 irons…I believe they are under $900 in golf stores…..very forgiving, oversize and big sweet spot. Ive seen them on ebay for under $600…i just bought a set off ebay for my dad..

Stand bags for sure….easier to put in the car, light on the back, not huge and bulky….option to put on a buggy….! But if its too heavy for you or you have a bad back then id get a cart bag and pull buggy.

Go the stand bag for sure…I had the same dilemma last week….I was tossing up btw a stang bag and cart bag…the good thing about a stand bag is u can use the buggy if u couldnt b bothered to carry it….whereas a cart bag u cant carry it unless u are a unit!

I have a Mizuno twister bag RRP is $325….i believe.

Scottys are definately the best putters i reckon behind the Ping redwood i just bought…..if you have a spare $400-500!

I bought mine from the U.S…I couldnt justifying spending $500 on a putter in powergolf that I could buy in the U.S for $300!

Im a member at royal and ancient Nth ryde….good track, only par 69 but very well maintained…greens are very slick at the moment, more than I can say for moore park where i played yesterday…they were -44 on the stimp metre! Good course though.

Hi matt, in my opinion, oversize irons are a lot more forgiving and have a bigger sweet spot ! When u mishit the ball it goes further than say for example a blade iron.

oversize are made for the mid to high handicapper.
