I like the course greens were a bit rough but you get that on a public course.

Secret Harbour is in a fantastic condition ATM and worth every penny they charge for membership.

Oh and I almost had a tear in my eye when i saw about 40 kids from about 5 to 16 years old having the best time of there live in the junior clinic last week.

Of the three sports you mention, why is golf the only one omitted.?

Maybe the long competition format is a problem. Maybe a modified format of teams matchplay would actually be an interesting solution.

But I still think that being an Olympian would be relatively unimportant for most golfers compared to winning a major.

Now judo – does that not seem like another silly sport? At Olympic level it seems like “random grappling whilst adjusting your terry toweling dressing gown”. How they award points is a bit of a mystery.

Reverse every natural instinct you have and do just the opposite of what you are inclined to do and you will probably come very close to having a perfect golf swing. – BEN HOGAN, POWER GOLF

I think that is very ignorant if you dont understand the scoring system look it up on the net rather than calling it silly. I’m sure you wouldn’t say it to there faces though.

So my wife does not know how the scoring system and rules of golf, does that give her the right to call golf silly ?

Is Rebjon correct when he says I was coming OTT? Every time I have been on a golf simulator it has reported an inside out swing path.

You are still coming from the inside but you are over the top of your initial backswing plane.

A better option which is more common is to use the same plane for backswing and down swing especially with S&T no plane shift or use a more upright plane on the back swing and a flatter plane on the downswing.

Get your setup alignments right with a strong pivot and the plane will take care of its self.

You look like you are coming over the top.

You start your swing on a low plane good for S&T but your hands on the downswing come out and away from the body. Your hands need to just drop down towards the ball not out towards the ball.

Swing track would help ?

You are also squatting on your setup, keep your back bent at the same angle but your legs need to be straighter with less flex. See how you are knock kneed. This will contribute to the OTT move and your head dipping ect.

Get your setup right and the rest will come.

Its looking better than before.

I have met Gavin at Sanctuary GC in Bunbury and seen him at work.

He is very good and spent alot of time playing with the current top Aussies playing on the PGA tour…

I would have no problems with him teaching me if I wasn’t seeing Guru.

You must stick with him through thick and thin to accomplish your goals.
