Topic: Golf Equipment / Lind Golf Hi, SoulmanZ, thanks for the good words. Regarding our demo’s in Melb, we are working on this. I just ask you guys to be patient. We are very busy at the moment but as I said previously, I will update you when we have concrete dates and a confirmed location. We want to run them properly and make it worthwhile which is why we are taking our time. We moved our prices back to where they were before the Aussie dollar strengthened to 98c however our prices are still sharp (and always will be) compared to the traditional retail model. Our hybrids, wedges and putters have not increased in price. Drivers only moved from $189 to $199 so the increase was insignificant there. Brad |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Lind Golf Hi, ottoneumann, we manufactured a few of those for our demo days because they are great for branding and are looking into producing them for the marketplace however I think we can do even better than the one in the photographs. I can’t disclose the new clubs, you’ll just have to wait. I’d love to hear what everyone would like to see on lindgolf.com. We can manufacture anything golf related and deliver it at a great price so feel free to make suggestions. We want to know what you want. Brad |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Lind Golf Hi, TheWalrus: We don’t need to give our clubs away, they perform well and people buy them because of that! gc78: Yes, an apparel range and visors are on the cards :) Actually, I’m left handed myself however we can’t make everything in left, there simply isn’t enough demand. I try my best to cater for left however opening moulds in left as well as right is a very expensive process. FYI we have left handed MOJO square fairway woods coming out soon. I’ll let you know when these are available. Regards, Brad |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Lind Golf Hi Everyone, Luke: Thank you for your great feedback. I emailed your post around the office – good luck keeping your 100% hit rate up. Our current range continues to sell and perform well so we’ve decided to let it run on while developing our site and brand further. I can’t reveal our product plans however there will be some new Lind clubs on the site before Christmas. gc78: You should receive your gloves soon. aym: The Firestick’s that are $68 are our clearance Firesticks which are only available in standard length. You can see them here: Have a good weekend. Regards, Brad |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Lind Golf Hi Everyone, This thread has been quiet for some time. Maybe it’s the cold weather!? Are you guys playing as frequently as ever or has the weather had an affect? Also, father’s day is coming up – Sunday September 7th so if you’ve been waiting for a reason, then this could be your opportunity to get your hands on some custom built golf clubs from Lind Golf. I’ve created a discount code for iseekgolf members called “iseekfathersday” which you can use at the end of the checkout for a 5% discount on your order. The offer expires Sunday night. Hope everyone is enjoying their golf. Cheers, Brad |

Topic: Golf Classifieds / Lind Apache Driver 9.5º - $100 Hi, The vast majority of our drivers and fairway woods are shipped with our standard Lind Golf graphite shaft which we’ve tested and selected and have never had anyone complain about the way it performs so this would be a first. We generally recommend upgrading your wood or fairway shafts if you play off a lower handicap or if you are a more serious golfer with a particular shaft requirement in mind. Our standard Lind Golf shaft certainly isn’t rubbish. I’m sure those of you who have bought woods from us would agree. If you want a driver capable of covering 300m, build up an Apache Mk2 9.5 with a Pro Launch Blue shaft :) Cheers, Brad |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Lind Mojo 460 Sqaure Driver Hi Everyone, Wow! Great thread! Glad to hear of so many people having success with their MOJO drivers and MOJO fairway woods. Don’t forget the MOJO hybrids, they employ the same square technology as the drivers do. I thought I’d explain the square technology in a bit more detail. There are a couple of advantages of going square. 1) The face of the driver is straighter than a traditionally shaped club head – This means that miss-hits tend to come off the face perpendicular so if you connect at the toe or heel, while you won’t get the distance of a shot that connects in the sweet spot, at least it will come off straight. 2) The square shape lends itself to positioning weighting at the extreme corners of the club head – this increases the clubs resistance to twisting at impact resulting in a higher moment of inertia, and thus straighter shots. Our MOJO driver certainly performs as well as the other OEM brands and as with all Lind Golf clubs, the MOJO driver comes with a 14 day money back guarantee so if you don’t like how it performs, send it back. Read more about this here. As for buying from overseas, customer service policies in many cases are not honoured for international shipments. We are based in Australia and offer a 12 month warranty, same day build, next day dispatch, every club is custom built to length with your choice of shaft, flex and grip and should you have a problem such as a manufacturing defect the return process is simplified by buying locally. Good luck with your MOJO’s! Sincerely, Brad |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Lind Golf slickone, Great feedback. Perhaps you want to paste that into a testimonial for us on the Apache Pro Irons page. To our knowledge, there is no significant difference. The only difference we believe, is marketing hype. Get a set of Lind customs and spend the difference on golf lessons. You’ll improve more by spending $900 on golf lessons than you will by simply having better clubs. And with True Temper Finest Quality shafts as standard, it is now a no-brainer. The custom build experience and the online experience is good fun too. I went into three golf stores over the weekend and asked them to custom fit me. All three use the exact same fitting system as our custom wizard calculator uses and all three told me not to worry about lie adjustments. An interesting experiment! Cheers, Brad |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Lind Golf Hi Guys, I hear you all regarding demo days and know people are itching to try our clubs for themselves however things have been pretty flat out with our June sale and we are about to embark on a big change to our business which I will post about this coming week. I think everyone will like what we are about to do very much. As for Newcastle, I will chat with the guys in the office and see what we can do. What would you think of a bi-monthly demo in Newcastle? It has to be worth our while – say 15 attendees or more, 1 sale won’t cover the petrol these days! We offer a money back guarantee so long as you tape up the club head so that it doesn’t get marked or scuffed so if you really want a club but still want the peace of mind that you can return it, buy on this basis. The full details of this offer are on the site. MIC879: Yes, we are working on a range of apparel at the moment starting with towels and golf polo shirts. I’ll let you all know when we load up the gear. Probably a month away. Feel free to call up to discuss your requirements in more detail. GunnerGolf: Come along to our demo and you can try our different wedge options. I’m sure you will find one that suites you. Cheers, Brad Lindenberg P.S. check this thread again later in the week, great stuff happening! |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Smoothy vs Clic Gear Hi Guys, I found this thread interesting. We just received stock of the Clic Gear 2.0 buggy which arrived into Australia on June 24th and is a brand new model. I have to say that it is the Rolls Royce of golf buggies, by a long shot. It would be difficult to get an honest opinion from the forum regarding the Clic Gear 2.0 buggy versus the Smoothy because the Smoothy has been on the market for a while and the Clic Gear 2.0 just landed however before Ferrari, people were content with say, a Jaguar!! Can’t praise the design, functionality, size and features of this one enough. The supplier is already out of stock of these which has proven how popular they are so they might be hard to come by for the next few weeks until the next shipment arrives. I’ve created a voucher code which will give you 10% off the buggy. We have white in stock and they look hot. Enter “iseekclicgear” into the voucher box to receive your discount. Offer expires Sunday July 6th. We also have stock of the accessories including the boot wheel cover, shoe brush and wall mount hook. Sincerely, Brad Lindenberg |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Lind Golf Chris, The Apache Irons are a good choice because of their wide soles – very forgiving. We are running the Apache Irons out and have only pre-assembled sets in steel left. Steel is heavier than graphite however steel will give you more accuracy while graphite will give you more distance and club head speed. If he wants graphite then I suggest the Apache Pro Irons in graphite regular. Regards, Brad Lindenberg |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Lind Golf Hi, Thank you everyone for all the great feedback and ongoing support. It’s great to hear of the success that everyone is having with their Lind golf clubs!!! It is coming into winter now – our demo night last night at Moore Park was freezing cold. We have decided to run a sale on iron sets of standard length with standard grips. We pre-assemble sets this way as most golfers fall into the standard length category however all stock of these items must be sold before June 30th. We were planning to e-mail our database next Monday but have decided to notify forum members first so that you have first pick! Enjoy the offer. Clearance iron sets can be viewed here. Sincerely, Brad Lindenberg |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Lind Golf Hi Jason, As Cliff described above, if you hit them properly, they can be worked and your shots can be shaped beautifully. If you miss hit them, you’ll know all about it. We generally don’t recommend Blades to players off handicaps above 10. That said, they are a great club to look at and you’ll feel confident addressing the ball. Our standard shafts have a mid kick point. A 7 iron from around 150m suggests stiff flex. They will most certainly force you to work on your ball striking. Sincerely, Brad Lindenberg |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Lind Golf Hi, I realise your concern in regards to using the forum for marketing – I try and be as objective as I can in all my responses and never try to come across with a biased opinion. I respect the objectivity of forums and the non-commercial nature of them however the offer is only for iseekgolf users and we have not offered it to any other parties. I thought it would be a nice thing to give back to the community, as everyone has been supporting us since we started posting here. I guess it is our way of saying thank you. We don’t often discount our product because we don’t feel we need to. For those who asked about demo days around Sydney, we have secured two more locations – Olympic Park (Homebush) & The Ridge Driving Range (Barden Ridge/Sutherland). The Homebush schedule will be up tomorrow. Dates for The Ridge are up. We are trying to secure a deal with Narrabeen to cover the Northern suburbs. North – Narabeen? We are thinking of running Canberra every 6 weeks. I’d be interested to know how many people if any would attend a demo day there. Cheers, Brad Lindenberg |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Lind Golf 10% off Lind Golf for iseekgolf users – 24 hours only Hi, It was nice chatting to you Mr President and yes, we just went live with the new Lind Cart Bag listing. Our new cart bag is made in the same factory as all of Taylor Mades golf bags. I visited this factory when I was in China last and they wouldn’t let us into the TM showroom however the features and quality of this bag are great. They also make for Orlimar who have some great bag designs. We reverse engineered a hole of golf and broke it down into actions, then created a bag around that. When using the bag you will realise how logical its features actually are. You quickly realise you’re no longer fumbling around your pockets for tee’s, pencils etc…. Actions: Visit this page for a full list of features (there are many more):New Lind Cart Bag I’m feeling generous today. I’ve created a voucher code of “iseekgolf” which is valid for 24 hours and will give everyone 10% off site wide to coincide with the introduction of our new bag. At the end of the checkout is a voucher code box. Simply enter iseekgolf into it and click update. The total will be recalculated with a discount. So if you’ve been pondering or want to add more Lind gear to your kit, today is your day. Enjoy. (Bega, I will make sure you receive 10% off as well). Sincerely, Brad Lindenberg |

Topic: Golf Equipment / The Cast Iron Manufacturing Process Hi Bill, I’m not that technical however my understanding of turbine blades is that they have to be perfectly smooth because they spin at such high speeds, even the most minute blemish could affect the aerodynamics. I am sure that products with such critical performance requirements would be made using a more expensive casting process to that used in golf clubs. Sincerely, Brad Lindenberg |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Lind Golf Hi Everyone, truesalt: Great feedback and great news. Another happy Lind Golfer. Good luck in your comp. Brett0509: If you’re unsure of what shaft to choose, best to call us up and we’ll talk it though over the phone. There are too many variables to discuss on the forum. brett2327: We’re in the process of organising additional demo days in NSW at the moment (and about to finalise two locations in QLD. Palm Meadows is finalised, another one is on the cards for Brisbane). We’ve just arranged demo’s to be run at The Ridge Driving Range (Sutherland, NSW) and Pete’s Golf Connection (Canberra, NSW) today. Hopefully by the end of the week we will have some more locations finalised. I can’t mention the names of the ranges we have contacted, however we are in discussions with ranges in the areas you have mentioned and are looking to bring them online around the middle of May on an ongoing basis. I’ll keep you guys in the loop as to the outcome and the dates. I hope this rain stops! Enjoy the long weekend. Cheers, Brad Lindenberg |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Lind Golf NigelO, I can only recommend the shafts we have on our site. True Temper make a series of lighter shafts as well which we can happily order in on request and fit to any of our sets. I don’t understand your post entirely so I can’t comment on the first part. Sincerely, Brad Lindenberg |
