mate you sound exactly like I was. Was playing off 14-15 and I had the Taipans as well. Decided if I wanted to get better I need to get fitted and get better clubs. Went to some demo days. Hit Ping, Mizzuno and Wilsons. Finally settled on the Wilson FG Tour V2. They are great clubs. Very forgiving. My iron play has improved out of sight and currently down to 11hc. Now just to get my putting right.
