Well the Storm had the loss they had to have. Writing on the wall last week against the Warriors. Bellamy now can get the egos back under control and do some work on their defence which has become very lazy. Should win everything until the origin break and then get serious once it is over. Very much looking like GI and the bunnies will be the GF opponents.

Yep, the PEDs are definitely better than the recreational drugs at this time of year. However, the PEDs seem to wear off in the 2nd half of the season whereas the recreationals seem to get a boost.

WADA has issued a statement confirming AOD-9604 is a banned substance as it has not been approved for human use.

According to the CEO of the drug manufacturer 6 Essendon players used it and last week EFC basically admitted they used it (claiming it was alright). So 6 players are looking at 2 year holidays. Good result for all concerned as EFC not permanently screwed, ASADA and AFL can admire their pecs.

Only way players can get a reduced sentence is to dob in someone else such as a coach who pressured them into using the drugs. Will we see self interest overrride the love of Bambi.

Super game of footy. Other than the occasion of Anzac Day there is nothing better on the sporting calendar than the old foes going toe to toe. Either side could have won and the losing supporters couldn’t be disappointed. All 44 players gave their all. Stick it up them next time Blues.

Jokes aside, the real problem with MFC is their geriatric support base. So many Melbourne supporters are elderly MCC members who provide nothing for the football club, are too lousy to buy a membership and will not follow the team to Etihad or elsewhere. They had a chance to consolidate their funding years ago by playing low drawing teams at Princes Park but the supporters wouldn’t pay.
They are a lost cause and should head to Darwin before the Doggies or Bombers (after they lose half their team and all of their sponsors).
