Topic: Mundine I may have to stand corrected on this but i thought Siacca stopped him. In any case Green destroyed Siacca who at 35 is still younger than Green and the same age as Mundine. Choc can box make no mistake about that but what i never understood was his father fought the best. I saw him go to war with Carlos Monzon back when there was only a handful of belts up for grabs across every division. Mundine Junior has missed an opportunity to showcase his ability against world class fighters at his best. He fought Ottke in Germany and got stopped because he wasn’t ready for that class of fighter yet. Had a good fight with Kessler and showed he had the tools to be something. Then apart from Green he has fought noone. Just Bums! And Blind Freddie could see how much weight Green had to drop just to get in the ring. Mundine was far too good on that occasion but Green would walk through him at light heavyweight and Choc knows it. I doubt Daniel Geale will even give him a shot now. The ‘Real Deal’ has bigger fish to fry. |

Just for the record the Manny Siacca you mentioned knocked Mundine out in Sydney a few years back. And Green is 37 himself. |

Topic: Mundine Green had to lose a lot of weight for that bout and was devastated by the very recent loss of his niece in a car accident, so he was not at his best,.... |

Topic: Mundine He baited a country, and alot of people deprived of decent boxers were hungry and took it.Were spoilt with Fenech and Tszyu.Remember Tszyu at World Amateur, he flushed some poor blokes head, with jab after jab, couldn`t miss in a semi. |

Topic: Mundine Mundine has made a truckload of money by presenting himself as a loud mouthed, arrogant, up himself bloke. 10’s of thousands have cheerfully sent their $50 off to Austar in the sole hope of seeing him get bashed up, and he has fought Nevilles the whole time. Going by his most recent interviews even he appears to be “over it” along with most Australians. |

Topic: Mundine If I expect others to earn my respect I am placing myself above them. That is not a very good way to approach people IMO. Meet people as equals and respect is a given. I don’t think Anthony Mundine (or anyone else) needs to earn respect. However I think he has done plenty in his life that is to be admired. As already mentioned, he changed his career and backed himself to do so successfully. He has acted professionally in supporting his promoters and sponsors by promoting himself and getting bums on seats at his fights. In the real world outside of boxing he appears to be a humble and proud man who follows his faith, supports his family and others in his community, and always expects a lot of himself. Not a great boxer but a quality human being. |

Topic: Mundine I just think he has lost a lot of credibility with his fights in the last couple of years, especially knowing the state Briggs was in ….. I saw John Wayne Parr at Evoloution umm, it must have been 19. JWP is a machine, he has been around for that long fighting champions of his sport and isn’t a wanker |

Topic: Mundine I don’t know why people keep bagging him… at least he backs up his LOUD mouth with his performances…. you need some ‘showmanship’ in his sport.. he does get carried away every now and then but backs it up in the ring which is not what most boxers do.. |

Topic: Mundine I love Chocko, I think he is fantastic number 1, no one gives a shot about boxing anymore and he knows it. He is promoting his fights and every cent that someone pays to watch him, whether it be Pay per View or arena seats – he gets. He is actually a very good, technically strong boxer. The fights he has lost, except the first one to Woods have only been awesoem world champions. He made Green look like a fool. |
