Topic: Golf Talk / Sadlowski 410 hit

Didn’t watch the whole thing, did he actually hit it 410y or just into the net? A mate I play with regularly hits it 350m on the course (no BS) and it is amazing to watch. The looks on the faces of people who have never played with him are priceless, a “Good ballllll ….. Oh Shit!” comment is a recurring theme. He also is not a big bloke, but gets ridiculous club speed. Watched him hit 3 wood 280 twice last week, so its not just driver.

I just got my 12 yo daughter to look at the 2 swings on the previous page, and told her to look at the club head. Her immediate unprompted response was “the bottom one it just follows the swing”. If a 12 yo can see it, why can’t everyone?

Brownie, I have a problem with your posts or rather your heavy finger/s on the “full stop” key. :)

Totally ignorant about almost everything except golf.

Brownie has problems with stopping stopping…......

I’m an agnostic dyslexic and often wonder about the existence of a dog. Especially one driving a bus.

What is this golf game you talk of?

I’m an agnostic, dyslexic insomniac. Wondering if there’s a dog keeps me awake at night.

Topic: Golf Equipment / 2013 Balls Spin Rate Chart

Am I blind (possible) or is the page for driver spin rates not included in that scan? Or was this test purely on half wedge spin? I’d have thought if they were going to the expense and effort of robot testing, they’d do both?

Blind Mububbabbabun! Driver spin is vertical axis, wedge is horizontal.

Topic: Golf Talk / How did you all play this weekend?

To be honest peaksy…I really struggled all day – but scrambled really well early and kept bogeying for 2 points on holes 1-7, got a 3 point par on 8 and a 3 point bogey on 9.

3 wipes on the back 9 – which I was lucky to escape on the front.

So all in all….34 was probably about right.

Shot more than 36 points in an OOM day….seriously.
Smoldy. When only the best will do.

Scrounging is good G-, gives you confidence that you don’t have to be at your best to score ok. Convert your wipes to 1 point, a couple of 1’s to 2’s etc and you end up scoring really well without realising it. Unless your luck involved stupidly good bounces, it’s actually good play to score from bad positions.

34 points at the ‘bat…..odd day with 20/14 split.

Down to 21.5 as my lowest handicap to this point.

Good start on the handicap G-, just think what will happen if you play more golflink rounds!

I worked today, and would have much preferred to be playing golf, even if I was atrocious. The old saying about worst day at golf is better than best day at work may not be totally true, but a shit day at work is easily bettered by any sort of day at golf.

Topic: Golf Instruction / Bradley Hughes Golf Talk-

Right wrist is ok, left is a bit rooted! I have been told (by blokes I play with, never really seen my own swing) that I have a similar action to Steve Stricker (lack of wrist cock, not his consistency!) When I started playing after my last wrist problems my swing had changed dramatically as my right forearm was about 50% stronger than the left. Everything went left for a while until the left arm caught up a bit, but I was certainly getting more distance.

With a 49 minute gap between first and last tee times, will OOMBET take bets on the last group in finishing at least 1.5 hrs after the first?

7.56 less 40minutes to straighten up, less 1 hour 50 drive, less time to get dressed into sensational golf apparel 15 minutes. Looks like out of bed at 5. Scary shit!

Thanks Brad.

My answer for your question-too much trying to get in the slot. I know when I’m swing well, I just swing well, and I can really feel the ball on the clubface. If I try to force anything I’m stuffed.

Topic: Golf Instruction / Bradley Hughes Golf Talk-

Now for a question.

I tend to have problems with faults gradually creeping in to my game, usually a gradual strengthening of my grip, and a shift in my alignment to the right of the target. These two things may well be related. I don’t realise this is happening until I’m lined up miles right and I can almost see my left little finger on the club.

Any thoughts on !. Cause of this, 2.Ways to prevent it.

Back onto the OP everyone. HACK your posts all deleted mate not allowing a witch hunt again with ZEN you proved your point a few months ago so time to let it go. ZEN, Commish and a few of the recent posts by HP and others are spot on with their feedback so take it to heart and don’t allow any more of your brand erosion.

Any issues contact content @ iseekgolf.com

Madam, as Zen called BS on other forum members, and went on the attack about their lack of physics knowledge, I think my question was more than reasonable. Zen hasn’t actually stated his formal quals, which I find slightly bewildering. Surely, if he is in the process of completing a PHd he has at least a Bachelor Degree, otherwise he would not be able to commence a Doctorate.

As I said earlier, we all know Brad’s golf resume (as well as Headpro and The Dart’s), surely it is in Zen’s best interests to inform the forum of his formal qualifications.

This is not about brand erosion, but a question of credibility, not only for Zen, but for iseekgolf in general.
