Topic: Allegingbows Journey Looking much more compact in your swing now AB …....... Your backswing is rotating (not swaying), and you are keeping the weight on the inside of the feet …......... well done. As Kiwi suggested though, you need to shift your weight to the front foot as you come down thru impact more. If you pause your last video at impact position …........ have a look at your stance to see where your weight is …...... it’s pretty much centred. Ideally (IMO) more weight should be across towards the target side, so that you are hitting down and thru against a “bracing left side”. I think though, that we can all see the work that you have done on your swing of late ........ and it is going to pay off on course. well done. |

Topic: Allegingbows Journey Try a 3/4 swing and keep the ball in play. As b4 use the handicap it’s there to assist you, any time you score under your hcp thats a bonus. If you blow out on a hole, leave it behind and go to the next tee with a smile in your head if not on your face, breathe deep and often. RELAX. go get em AB. |

Topic: Allegingbows Journey Sounds like a good plan mate. Stick to it and you will be the winner no matter what your score. Look forward to hearing how you go. |

Topic: Allegingbows Journey No expert mate but you sure look a lot more controlled with that swing! Don’t try and fix it all at once, just work on getting one thing right at a time and be prepared for some not so good rounds but look at the light at the end of the tunnel. If you finish the round and you have been able to achieve your goal, (could be using a correct grip) then you have succeeded no matter what the score is, I say this because this is how I have been working with my Pro. Fix one thing at a time and be prepared… We actually started with the grip and moved on from there.. |

Topic: Allegingbows Journey Mate, just don’t forget to hit the ball. After youv’e hit it regardless of the outcome SMILE and stay relaxed. Best piece of advice given to me was “play to your handicap.” If your of 18+ then every hole is 1 stroke more than the card, therefor a par 4 is a par 5. Keep that extra stroke as a saver,Don’t try and hit the green with your 2nd shot, take 2 clubs less and lay up, |

It would appear, after almost 2 weeks with NO physical output at all (aside from the usual push-ups, situps and dumbell curls), that I have gained almost 2 kgs!!! I can’t believe it. Well, looks like I’ll need to pull my finger out real soon….wish me luck!!! |

Topic: Allegingbows Journey Too true Node – they always go straight as a die when you are allowing for them to bend! I think your strategy is more reliable AB! Short rather than bent around. |

Topic: Allegingbows Journey AB I use the extensor (?) method to keep my left elbow straight (not locked). IE: I use my right hand on the club to wrap around the thumb of my left hand and pull it down so my left arm is still subtle but straight. If that makes sense, it works well for me as long as I pull down not out toward the ball when I pull out I get shanks ugggg gotta remember that on course ….. |
