Topic: 2011 ISG Weight Loss Challenge
Nice one Bump. Taking that mo’ off would have given you a few grams to play with too! Actually last year showed me how much a simple checking of your diet can help. Didn’t really up the excercise count but cut back on the junk style stuff and nibbles. Shed 5kgs over a couple of weeks just from that. So while you are out of action physically, if you can keep the calorie count to a minumum and then perhaps maintain it once you get active again, you’ll be off and running nicely! |

Topic: 2011 ISG Weight Loss Challenge Cheers gang, great to have you onboard. Oz, no one’s asking you to change anything mate. I love my food as well. Others in the past have used Momma’s House to make sure they don’t gain weight and blow out. But either way mate, it’s just a friendly relaxed way of keeping track of a key health stat and not letting it get away from ya. |

Topic: Allegingbows Journey AB I understand but look on the bright side you now have set something to improve on :) ahhhh there is always a bright side plus you have experienced the course at it’s worst. The hardest thing for players at our level is to get everything working on one day and to have your short game work is a great result I think keep up the good work! |

Topic: Allegingbows Journey AB, played Willows Sat last and the front 9 hit 15 over (it was wet, wet, wet!) and 4 over back 9 which was HEAPS drier. Even with preferred lies when it’s wet under foot the club just skids through the shot. Forget that round. |

Topic: Allegingbows Journey Feeling your pain AB. Hit 103 today when I am trying to get around 90 – so 13 higher than target as well. Sometimes golf is just like that, nothing goes well. And things only have to be a little off to put you in the crap over and over again! Chin up mate. |

Topic: 2011 ISG Weight Loss Challenge OK Gang, Althought the “Big Momma’s” house wasn’t frequented too much the latter part of the year, there seems to be a bit of a call to open its doors again for 2011. For those of you who have no idea what I’m talking about, refer to the previous thread here: 2010 ISG Weight Loss Challenge Basically, some of us more ‘well rounded’ ISG’rs have taken the challenge to try and lose or manage our weight, realising that the couple of extra kilo’s isn’t doing us any good. According to my (not recently updated) charts, last year we lost a combined 130kgs between us! I think that is worth noting and if we can do the same again this year, that’s a hell of a lot of weight that isn’t being dragged around the golf course. Instructions for the newbies are pretty simple: I’ll publish the updated chart weekly or on request and we can all keep each other motivated. I should point out, that ‘Big Momma’s House’ is a 100 per cent positive place. We don’t want any nay-saying or p!ss-taking being done here. Lots of warm fuzzies!! So c’mon gang, log in your 2011 aspirations and lets get it done. |
