I heard on BBC World Service they interviewed the first British Woman (can’t remember her name ) to play on the LPGA. When she arrived there, they doubled her Entry fee! Created a whole new category for her – foreign visitor or something. She was rather peeved at the time. She basically said that she’s not surprised by it – but questioned the motives of those who have instigated it!

Started the year on 11.9.
Blew it out to 12.5 a couple of times.
Now down to 11.3

About to start a program with my local pro to get me “way down”.

A lot of you guys talk about “getting out there and enjoying it”. I find I can only really enjoy it if I’m playing well! I have shot par on each 9 in Comps on my course. Just not both nines in the same round! So I know I can do it. Just need to find the consistency to shoot low-mid 70’s week in, week out. That’s the goal.

Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Silvestre from Man U for “an undisclosed fee”.

Interesting that Man U would let him go to Arsenal, but wouldn;t let Heinze go to Liverpool last season … is there something they’re not telling us about?

I think it’s a good signing – adds a bit of experienced backup who can play anywhere across the back.

I’m with you Styles. The format of this game does suck quite a bit. I know I got the most points, but I feel sorry for Andrew (Inter Me Van) who got 3rd most points – and LOST!

So, how about we have a separate table of total points. For ISG purposes, the winner and person with bragging rights is the one with the most points!

As I said in the other topic, I still believe that we can win it.

Don’t pay attention to the pundits – they wrote us off last season, and if wasn’t for Eduardo’s busted leg, we would have won it. The signings we have made are class – Nasri especially, and if RvP can stay fit, and if the Gallas-Toure partnership can actually gel, we’re in with a real shout.

Here’s what gets me. 7 have basically 4 channels.
Digitals 1,2,3 and HD (plus regular non-digital if you like).

How about showing you basic package on regular and HD, and then stay with a particular sport/game on the other ones? Or is that too hard for them? So, show the basketball on 1, the soccer on 2 and the beach volleyball on 3. Otherwise, what’s the point of having 3 digitial channels??
