Topic: Plugged Bunker Shot Hmm, plugged bunker? I’d no shot at all. Didn’t hole the putt for par but only just missed! |

Topic: Plugged Bunker Shot Either way works but it depends on how much you are buggered whether it be an uphill/flat/downhill lie in the trap. You just have to take the time to practice it and see what happens. A downhill plugged lie is the headache with a lip in-front. and the pin cut close That is when you have a problem. |

Topic: Plugged Bunker Shot I had this happen in the same bunker two rounds straight, I used a kinda baseball swing at it. Picked my spot and just smashed the bugger, popped right out and made my sand save both times :-). I have also heard of using a heel\toe style putter in this situation but can’t elaborate on that. |

Topic: Plugged Bunker Shot I have seen this done both ways. Version A players tend to have a looser grip than in Version B. Either way you are still trying to get the ball airborne on the sand pad so hit the sand hard and feel like you are going to leave it the head deep in there. Of course it will come out along with half the bunker in your face:) |
