Sunshine is in really good nick at the moment. They seem to have the water issue sorted now. The fairways were great and the greens while a fraction slow (only a little) were very nice too.

The only problem is that anything off the fairways is crap. Ie lack of grass and plenty of dry dirt. That said the are not too many trees so you generally have a clear shot.

$30 midweek if you book online is fair value IMO.

Happy to pay anytime Bomber. I really want to get my handicap and play in some comps so if you are keen let me know where and when and we can sort something. Is Sunday free for you?

Bomber, not sure if you meant me or not as PFD doesnt seem to be on this thread lately.

Yeah I had a hit at Sunshine. Slightly strange day. Couple in front on first tee let me through so felt rushed and not warmed up. Hit hybrid down the middle and then imploded for a triple from there!

Got my shit together a bit more by about the third and while not striking the ball very well, managed to really score well. Finished with 80 (42 out, 38 back) with 28 putts and 6 GIRs.

So felt like I didnt play the house down but result says I found a way to get the ball in the hole. Am off about 16 (unofficially) so an 80 is always welcome.

I play most Tuesdays in between split shift, usually play between 10am-2pm. I live in Wantirna so pretty central to Box Hill, Waterford Vally, Kingston Links, even Box Hill.

Need to decide pretty quick though, its a long weekend this week so it might get busier than normal. Fingers crossed the weather holds up….forecast is windy/storms at this stage but it will most likely improve.

I’m playing 13th Beach on Tuesday morning with 3 trainee pro’s and have just bought the MX700 3 wood and 20deg hybrid. Need some practice over the weekend so i dont look like a clown…

I’m starting a new job in Surrey Hills tomorrow. Will have to see whether the job is flexible, we could play Boxhill GC during/after work.

Malvern is fine with me. (Though I’ve actually never played their, attempted to go a few times after work without a teetime and was told an hour or so wait.)

Weather/time doesn’t really bother me. To be honest if it’s slightly damp, it’ll probably be less busy which I prefer (Though wind not so much). I’ll take less-than-optimum conditions over waiting 20 minutes on every tee anyday.
