Topic: GM2 Exchange Putter #7 good or not?

Here

I can’t link to the product page for some reason, go to www.powergolf.com.au, click on clubs, click on putters, the GM2 Exchange is midway down page 2 for $149.

Just print it out, take it to a stockist & ask for a price match.

Topic: GM2 Exchange Putter #7 good or not?

I use a NC putter and love it.

I baulk at paying top dollar for gear as my game doesn’t warrant (and my wife doesn’t appreciate it!!!) so I tend to look for quality stuff at reasonable prices. If you can get one for $149 I would think it would be worth every cent. If it’s good enough for Vijay and Boo Weekley it can’t be all bad but try it first and see.

Power Golf has them for sale at $149 at the moment, including weights, tool & headacover.

Almost bought the #1 because it felt good, although I wasn’t really after adjustable weights so ended going for a Nickent Pipe which felt brilliant.

Topic: Are there fake RIFE putters

mind you i am having the same fight with Macgregor USA (who dont even reply) and their new australian distributor Olympic Proline about a faulty weld on their leading (cup face 360) that cracked.

Apparently the new distributor wont take any warranty problems and Macgregor wont stand by their product !!!

why would ebay ban or get rid of these fakes, they take their cut from every sale !

Ebay always has and always will be profit before integrity !!!

Same thing with scalper’s and concert ticket’s. Ebay said it’s not their problem people sell them for 500% profit take it up with the event organiser and get them to make it hard for scalper’s to buy.

Ebay get their cut so tuff luck for the punter’s that didn’t get in quick enough.

Shit Welly that sounds like a f’kn nightmare! I could not agree more that PayPal is a joke. You file a complaint and then they want you to solve it with the seller. You get no-where with the seller so you upgrade the complaint. Complaint is referred to PayPal investigator and they say that they cannot do anything about it. WTF? Complete and utter joke. I had two payments taken from my credit card for the same item and the way it was handled by PayPal was so disgraceful that I had to call every-day for three weeks before I was able to get a refund. No joke!

There is so much fake junk on ebay that it now resembles a friggen Chinese flea market. Please, please, please ISG’ers don’t buy BNWT items that have a price that is just too good to be true, because really it is not. Ie/ Scotty Camerons for AU$100! Ask the seller before bidding for the serial number and see where this leads. The ones you can usually put some trust in are second hand golf clubs, ex-demos and clearing houses (pro-shops & retailers selling out-dated stock). And do not get me started on the clothing on that site! There must be people out there making thousands of $s a week selling shit that you can order from Chinese wholesale websites for next to nothing. Ie/ polo shirts that you can get 10x for $30 + $30 postage, so say $60 all up, are selling for b/t $30-$50 each. That dishonest profit is huge!

Where the f’k are the AFP when you need them?? They should clean up ebay or shut it the f’k down. There, rant complete!

welly. i hear that story alot about ebay and paypal…… they advertise all this “we are safe” policy stuff, but when something actually happens it goes straight into the too hard basket and gets filed.

yup for sure .. they tried to tell me i done the deal outside of ebay..
i had to larf as at the time i still had an inbox full off messages ..i was very nice to start with but lost the plot with them after a while,
the problem arose from a second chance bid.. anyway im over it now and dont think i will use ebay again.

i was indeed ! .. off ebay , after enless emails to the seller asking if they were the real thing blah blah .. finally bought 2 sets of them .. one for myself and the other for a mate ..they arrived while i was away.. then when i got home i open both sets and found both the 7 irons had the same serial number on them.
contacted ebay.. they didnt want to have anything to do with it.. nor paypal either .. i wasnt about to send them back because the seller gave me a different return addy so i decided to keep them.

turns out they are one of the better copies and they actually play really well..so at the end of the day its how you hit them that counts.

i heard the only way to tell a fake over genuine in the irons is to cut them in 1/2 through the blade. the genuine will have all the fancy technology. the other is just a chunk of metal

Isn’t there the 2 Bar Mallet and 2 Bar Hybrid Mallet?
That could account for variations.

I would have thought that the volume of Rife putter sales would make it less than appealing for a chinese manufacturer. They are cheaper than Camerons and Ping Redwoods which probably makes it less likely to counterfeit.

Still no guarentee.

I don’t see why not.

If they are popular and relatively expensive there is probably a market for fakes.

Topic: Wilson Di-7 Irons 3-PW,GW,SW $500

Where are you located? I have a mate near Newcastle who might be interested. Can you drop me an email at dhills2@hotmail.com & I will forward to him. I know he was after 3-PW so the shaft on the SW shouldn’t be an issue. Cheers.

actually the blades he used looks very classic

i think it was not irons per se, the conditions were simply brutal
the wind moving a stationary ball on the green tells it all…..
