Topic: ISG OOM # R1 2012 Can’t believe a perfectly “healthy individual” needs to “steal” a cart to play golf. What’s worse, he then leaves at the end of his round and doesn’t hang around to chat with the other fellow ISG’ers. Very stuck up attitude if you ask me. :-) |

Topic: ISG OOM # R1 2012 Ha, I excel at match play for some reason. Probably because I don’t worry so much about score but rather just keeping up with the loser I’m playing with. Bring it on I say. GT is playing the waiting game of form return, running scared, he knows I am out to get that one. |

I must reiterate this comment as far as TC is concerned. I believe he thinks I F@#king swear too much. When you are in the middle of the fairway on 16 with 110 metres to the green and walk off with a wipe….....most people would swear I would have thought. :-) Anyway I appologise if I uspet my playing partners – TC, JRG1166 & Peaksy. Thanks for the game and enjoyed the company. For me a very “up and down” day where I could not get a flow going. My thanks again to the committee as they have done an amazing job and these days would not be as big as they are without their back ground work. |

Topic: ISG OOM # R1 2012 Yes, just echoing the thoughts of everyone on another great day. Super job committee, very good choice of track too, gave everyone an opportunity to display their strengths and score well if they were “on” for the day. We had a good day, with Wasabipea, Sarg and FB and playing some greatstuff. Wasa hit some super drives with the “little pink lady ball” and was not far from the LD on 16. A bit of work in the sand and you are around it. Fairway Bomber has a great tempo and played some of the prettiest shots of the day. Man can he get that ball to check up on a short pitch. Sarg struggled a little early but was really hitting the ball well on the back, just a few fades cost you mate but considering your new to the game it was a super effort. I struggled to make any putts (they just didnt break at all) or hit anything super close and really only made one big mistake. Was 3 over the card prior to a 3 foot miss on 15, then went par, bogey and double which was a little disappointing. Into a career best HC of 7 after today from my calcs so happy about that. The end of the day was a nice win though, the Golden Stubby will proudly sit with me til HV. Bring it on. |

Topic: ISG OOM # R1 2012 Just wanted to say some thanks for the great day out yesterday. To the committee, another brilliant job in organising the day. Getting nearly fifty blokes organised is no mean feat, and you handled it all so smoothly. Lots of great prizes on offer, so thanks to our kind sponsors, and particularly to our new sponsors, who are giving us all something to aim for, and helping us to grow the events. (PS ….. Thanks for the golf umbrella Boz …. it’s already been added to my bag) There was lots of interest throughout the day …. from the 3 separate LD holes, the various NTP’s, Micky’s Challenge hole and Smerg’s Golden Stubby event … just outstanding work by the committee, along with Smergs and Micky. As soon as the guys finished their rounds yesterday, everyone started looking forward to the next event that you have in store for us, Hidden Valley ….... can’t wait for that now …..... wherever the hell it is.. To my playing partners Smergs, Hot Fuzz, and Tippy, a really enjoyable day playing 18 with you guys …....... just a shame that it had to end, as we were all enjoying ourselves, and having lots of laughs. Smergs, you hit some very nice ones buddy, and have now banked your first 30+ points, so well done!! ... Some very good up and down work was on show at times too, so take that forward with you buddy, and keep trying to get out there whenever you can. Hot Fuzz …........ soon to be called Hott Fuzz Longdriver, hit some really long ones off the tee (including one that went too long) and it was a pleasure to watch you sink the odd putt with that old antique you’re using. Tippy …...... what can I say buddy, lose your grandad’s socks and there’s no telling how good you could score. You showed no fear on the greens, and all of us sat back at times and just loved seeing you sink them from everywhere, great stuff. To the winners, well played, and thoroughly deserved. Great efforts by the irrepressible Stink who is now officially “BACK”, and of course our little pocket rocket, Kiwi …. outstanding stuff Muzz. As for my game yesterday, well I was doing a bit of dragging on the approach shots, so I never had one close opportunity for birdie, and I watched several longer ones just slide on by. Lots of work for me to do between now and HV, which is good. To all the guys though …....... thanks for a great day out, a load of laughs with you all, and it’s now set up an exciting OOM year ahead …........ bring it on …...... |

Shreksm was great to see your crisp hitting all day and the shot on 13 was priceless with Mick watching from the neighbouring fairway. Thanks to the organisers for a fantastic day. |

Topic: ISG OOM # R1 2012 Fun day catching up with the ISGers again, the group has grown a bit since my last game! Thanks in particular to Golftime, Ari and Gary (OB’s mate) for a very enjoyable day out. Great playing with GT again, you had a blistering front nine with only 13 putts, put on a clinic with your short game getting it up and down from everywhere. Wish I had a short game half as good as that. I’m sure your work with Zen will help you heaps – all the best with it. Great to meet Ari, you hit the ball well all day, if not for a couple of finishing holes could have had the best overall score of the day – still 37 was good enough for the win in C grade and the LD title as well, so well done. Two under off the stick for the first 4 holes on our back nine was great to watch. Keep hitting it like that and you’ll be down to the low teens in no time. Good to meet Gary, didn’t have the best day out but still managed to birdie the 3rd and OZ pipped you for the NAGA so well done. Pretty happy to have a good round myself, thought the course was in really good condition and the weather was perfect. Thanks to Iron Mick for his generous donation of 3 Pentas for getting on the 13th, glad you saw it for yourself Mick! Congratulations to the winners of each grade, some great scores from a lot of players which was good to see. Happy to see Stink have a great round with 40 points, well done on the turnaround of form. To the angry little KIWI who was our starter on the 10th – well done on your 42 points and the putting trophy. You always seem to crank it up another gear for these days, good stuff. Obviously the theft of the cart got you fired up to shoot a great score! Special thanks to CB, OB, OZ, Goldman and P&B for all the work that goes in to organising and running the day – you guys do a great job. Looking forward to playing Hidden Valley for the first time in the next round. |

Topic: ISG OOM # R1 2012 and no i aint changing my name to nagabear mate sad to see you had a bad one, but really 23 points is higher than expected for NAGA, most expected 18-20 would have been enough. NAGADEVIL Also really great to see iron mick play well and beat a lot of players home, something tells me we have seen the last of Mick’s reign on NAGA award which is good.. |
