Topic: The Lounge / Can of Worms. ..... Quality of Life peg, mate exact same position we were in, brain surgery that grandma never really recovered from whatsoever, rapid degrading condition also…. no acknowledgement, eye movement NOTHING…. we ran with it for a few years before we all knew in our hearts that she was obviously getting zero from it, it was doing us worse as it was distracting from the lifetime of super wonderful thoughts and images in our heads of our amazing grandma and mother….. and no-one else was getting anything from it,( grandpa passed years before) so the decision was asked and make on these fundamental questions and answers she is alive and body wise going ok, but we have instructed the doctors to just let her go, she is off all meds…. obviously short of physical pain (which she is not in) |

Topic: iseekgolf Golf Days / SANDHURST NORTH COURSE OOM3 2013 COURSE GUIDE/TIPS believe me when i say though, if you are REALLY having a bad day out directional wise, this course WILL finger you and you will pretty much find alot of dated areas that you will consider walking back to the car and sooking in the carpark churning over in your head, even muttering to yourself loudly that other can just hear it, about how you consider yourself the most unlucky golfer in the world and how it’s just simply not fair. Then after 20mins of sooking in the drivers seat you will feel embarrassed about your disgusting behaviour and consider grabbing your mud infested sticks out of the boot and bolting back out onto the course to catch your group who has now continued to play 4 holes in your absence. But, you refrain from doing that so that you can save face. so, you gently turn the key in the ignition of your orange, sunburst peeling vinyl roofed datsun 180B and with a splutter and backfire you gently creep and edge your rusty hubs out the entry gate, never to be seen again. Upon arriving home, you kick the dog as soon as you enter though the door, boot you your 386 IBM wonderbox and immediately delete your ISG username and request to MADAM that she removes any trace or history of your existence. the tasks fades out and finishes with a picture of you sitting infront of your 386IBM brickbox with a flashing cursor in the eBay search window, that simple states ” SET OF LAWNBOWLS CHEAP” blahahahaha |

Topic: iseekgolf Golf Days / SANDHURST NORTH COURSE OOM3 2013 COURSE GUIDE/TIPS hahahaha I love it from top (google maps) view it would show many fingered or date areas. Some of which may even appear in the elevated category of “smelly” finger or date. Reality is though, on course, alot of these date areas are simple not of concern….. If anyone has any concerns of a “date or fingered” nature that they can see on google maps or similar, please ask away….. a good shower prior to tee off should solve most issues….. |

Topic: iseekgolf Golf Days / SANDHURST NORTH COURSE OOM3 2013 COURSE GUIDE/TIPS well gents thats it, good luck, see you all next sunday. as discussed with confusion of the tee off areas. the 10th tee is on and way from the clubhouse next to the range and chipping area, the 1st tee is ages away from the clubhouse on the OTHER side over the access road. So in swapping over 9’s you basically walk round the front of the clubhouse/practice putting green and over the other side (yes its a hike) to get to your next 9 |

Topic: iseekgolf Golf Days / SANDHURST NORTH COURSE OOM3 2013 COURSE GUIDE/TIPS HOLE 18 Par 4 Rated HARD/MODERATE Great closing hole here, tough from the tiger tees, alot easier from where we will play it. Obviously standing on this tee you will see anything LEFT through to the green is date and fingered in the drink. If you can smack one down the middle here, you make this hole an easy one. Its a big green that id fairly flattish, little slopes here and there. What I like about this hole is you can see and asses all danger by eye from the tee. Weigh up your option and go for it. It “appears” longer than what it actually is from the tee, so don’t let that discourage you. Hit a good drive here and you will be hitting 6-pw into this green. If the pin is tucked front right, a bunker short protects the flag, just over this bunker the green slopes quite steep towards the hole, so forget going for the pin, as you will end up closer by hitting your approach left of the pin and pin high into the flatter part of the green. Will see some BIG unwanted scores here. |

Topic: iseekgolf Golf Days / SANDHURST NORTH COURSE OOM3 2013 COURSE GUIDE/TIPS HOLE 17 Par 5 RATED MODERATE It shows some length here for the last of the par 5’s. Open from the tee, fairway bunkers protect the right and centre/left fairway here. Small landing zone between these. Its a tough carry of these pots. Bunkers protect the RHS of the fairway pretty much through to the green. There is a hazard right rough that will come into play for your second. Hit the ball fairly straight through this wide open hole and you shouldn’t find yourself in too much trouble. Bunkers short/front right catch short clubbed balls to a right pin placement. Bail out is LEFT the whole way through this 17th. The green is the double green shared with the 11th, big sloped back to front. rated moderate, purely for the length, amount of bunkering and green aspects. |

Topic: iseekgolf Golf Days / SANDHURST NORTH COURSE OOM3 2013 COURSE GUIDE/TIPS HOLE 16 Par 4 RATED EASY 16 is a shortish par 4 straight too. Bunkers right hand side of the fairway landing zone, but they are pretty shallow. Anything leftish of centre will look good from the tee, but the rough and trees cut in and you could find yourself in the rough, or worse yet slightly blocked out for your second. Iron off the tee if your a strong hitter here is a safe option as you will have a short iron to the green and take out the bunkers from the tee. The green is big and 2 tiered and bunker front left protects any left pin. |

Topic: iseekgolf Golf Days / SANDHURST NORTH COURSE OOM3 2013 COURSE GUIDE/TIPS HOLE 15 Par 3 RATED MODERATE Me no likey tis hole. :) ok, so par 3, it can be a real tough hole if the tees are back and the wind is up. Bunkers on the right of green catch anything right and anything basically short, into a right of centre hole position. The green is tough to chip back onto from the right hand side, the ball tends to just keep running and running off the left or back. Your bail out here is left, just short left. Long here can see you in trouble in long rough, tress, dips, fingered lies etc…. ME no likey tis hole. NEXT…..... |

Topic: iseekgolf Golf Days / SANDHURST NORTH COURSE OOM3 2013 COURSE GUIDE/TIPS HOLE 14 Par 4 RATED EASY/MODERATE Great golf hole here. A risk and reward hole for all handicappers and grades. Short par 4, blind elevated green that you can barely see from the tee. Fairway bunkers middle fairway in the iron/layup landing zone. If you drive for the green its a pretty tight landing zone also an water carry. Anything right off the tee here is FINGERED and in the drink. Long hitters not too far right might carry the water and tress and be ok. The play here is 3 options really. 1. Pull out driver, aim left hand side of the green and load up and smack it there. 2. Hit a 3-5 iron LEFT of the middle fairway bunkers and leave yourself a wedge in, hit it middle and you will be in the traps, hit it too far left and you would have risked more and will not gain any advantage over option 3. Option 3, hit a mid iron short of the fairway bunkers (depending on tee position around 160-175mtrs, take everything out of play and leave yourself with a 7-9 iron into the green. the green in big and flattish, elevated and hard surfaced. |

Topic: iseekgolf Golf Days / SANDHURST NORTH COURSE OOM3 2013 COURSE GUIDE/TIPS HOLE 13 Par 3 RATED EASY now comes my favourite stretch on this north course. Starts here at the 13th. Really nice short par 3, looks great from the tee. Green runs back to front, big dip/hollow off the front right catches alot of balls, it’s pretty date down in there. Bunkered all the way through the right side of the green. Any severely drawn/hooked balls, re-load from the tee. Playing a short iron here 8-PW, have a real go at this pin, should be a good amount of good scores here. |

Topic: iseekgolf Golf Days / SANDHURST NORTH COURSE OOM3 2013 COURSE GUIDE/TIPS HOLE 12 Par 4 RATED MODERATE/HARD Its a tough long 4. Rated number 4 i think. Not too much danger but length and a tricky shot to an elevated green with a mid/long iron can test ones game. The driving line for most will be just left of centre, towards the row of smaller trees separating it from the 11th fairway. Hard right off the tee is FINGERED. Watch for the fairway bunkers on the right side of the fairway. a big bunker infront of the green catches anything miss hit or short clubbed. Its the type of hole that doesnt appear or present to difficult, but seems to always gather that extra 1 shot here and there. For the A-Graders, with a good drive this is a real chance to get a shot on the field here. |
