I would trade him for Tivendale if Tivendale was with another
club at the moment. That's how bad he's going |

Kingsley has showed form, but has only been back 2 weeks and only really did knock on the door after last weeks magoos game. Reiwolt is too small IMO but has earnt his spot and sounds like a rare talent. Cleve Hughes was dropped last week, maybe for rest? The others are in the side because mainly because we are heavily depleted. On another note in regards to non-deserving players: I would rather see a guy like King for example, who is really only in because of injuries stay in the side than a guy like Pettifer who has had far too much footy to be left in the team while showing no promise. I will even go as far as saying Kane Johnson has been shithouse this year and probably has not earnt his spot. |

He was one of my favourite players when he left the Tigers, i will never forgive him. If you see him again, give him a swift kick in the scrotum. |

Topic: Sports Talk / The 2007 Tiggie Train We don't have a huge amount of options in terms of who else to bring in. That's why the kids are getting games. I agree with you Carl that the majority of our kids havn't earnt the jumper, but it's a case of either give them a run or run out with 15 blokes on the feild. When the likes of Hartigan and even Ray Hall are not available, Gas retired and Kellaway was forced out, we have to turn to young blokes to take their spot down back. Sad but even more sadly... very true. |

Amen to that. He plays his #$%^ing guts out. His disposal seems to be slowly improving. Really hope JON lifts, he moves so well and has clean hands.
How about my boy Kingy on the weekend? He was everywhere, reminds
me a bit of a young Matty Knights in the way he plays and moves,
big call i know! |

Cogs has been a crucial loss, I too didnt expect us to feel his loss so strongly. Doesn't help when you then lose simmo, brown, ect ect.
I dont think JON is mentally ready yet, he seems to lose his head
when under moderate pressure. He needs to sink a couple of cans
before running on the paddock, just to ease the nerves Foley is the next Scott West, except has the advantage of extra pace!! He gives me a raging soft on every match... |

Topic: The Lounge / Hemiplegia Migraine I have a 2-3 of these each year, exactly the same as you described. The last one was two weekends ago. It can be a scarey feeling, but rest, water and some medication when you feel the onset will help alot. Your left side will return to normal within a week and you would want to avoid bright lights as much as possible and your vision will still be quite sensitive. Asphalgen (spelling?) is very good and available over the counter. Always use water soluble stuff such as the above and Aspro clear extra strength. In my experiance these are much much more effective. Im not a fan of prescribed meds for migraines as they can do more harm than good. I went through a horrible patch at school about 10 years ago with these kind of migraines and had numerous CT/MRI scans. The only thing that cut them down was beta blockers I was put on for a heart condition, unfortunately as soon as I stopped the beta blockers, they returned but not as frequent. It would be valuble to have a CT scan done ASAP as it is always better to be safe than sorry mate! In the meantime keep some soluble pain killers with you at all times and if your vision starts to go take 2-3 ASAP to cut the severity and duration. |

Topic: Your Favourite Golf Courses / 420 - 440m The first hole that comes to mind is #7 at Huntingdale. Think its about 440m??? Plays fine. #3 at Sanctuary Cove Pines and 11 at The Grand are also short (>440) but are not an easy 5 for the average 18 marker. Both are fine to play. It can work out ok I guess... But I would say 420 is too short, the extra 20m would be critical from a thought perspective. |

Topic: Sports Talk / The 2007 Tiggie Train I agree Carl, why Hughes was dropped on the back of one soft game when he has showed alot more than any other youngster we have in the foward line is beyond me. I would have dropped Pettifer before Hughes... Pretty miffed on that one... |

Im on the board with my first win!! (was starting to get worried
I had a Richmond style curse on me
Didn't have a chance to edit my team at all last week, yet
managed 1900+ points. Percentage is 100%, which is excellent
considering my 1-3 record. Have the mini bye this week against
Ben |

My brother is the same height as Cousin and reckons hes too light for senior footy at the moment when he stood next to him a few weeks ago. I'm of the opinion that if you win the ball in the air it doesnt matter. So, yes. |

Topic: Your Favourite Golf Courses / Home course advantage Local advantage is only really a possible match winning advantage if your playing your home track. However I agree with everything in Boonie's post and would ad Green Acres and Victoria to the list of courses. If you have played both tracks 10+ times you will have an advantage. At Green Acres because of the subtle movements in the greens and at Victoria on holes like the old #1, the tee shots at 15 and 16. I always found Commonwealth to have tricky slick greens for pennant in the late 90's. Kingston Heath #7 was also one where knowledge played a big role. I went for it in 2 in a match, hit the bank and was left with a shocking chip to the back left pin, my opponent layed up to about 90 metres, just in front of the RHS fairway trap, knocked it to 15 feet and made a birdie. He was closer for his second and still decided to lay up. Probably more an example in course management, but still relevant. Most of the advantage comes from knowledge of certain greens and shot positioning/course management. |

Jake King looked fine on the weekend, his disposal and decision making were quite good and he had some pace. Sadly thats enough to make him a player for us in the immediate future. |
