Topic: The 2007 Tiggie Train they might be able to do something with 36 players cause they surely can’t do anything with 18 they would probably need all 36 on the field to win a game |

Topic: The 2007 Tiggie Train More members of the Tiger Army….........excellent! Hey lads, Riewoldt is in my Supercoach team as a reserve. Will Wallace play the young fella again this year. I thought he moved well against Essendon. Now I can understand Geelong not playing Hawkins, but surely Riewoldt will play another couple as part of the learning process. |

Topic: The 2007 Tiggie Train Brownies back for tonights clash!!! Spewing I have to work, will be good having him in the forward pocket inspiring the young blokes. Surely Kent Kingsley can’t make it back into this side, anyone think he’ll be playing senior footy again??? How long did we sign him for?? |

Jeff Farmer I would rate as the biggest FW, with Milne a very close second. Headland is right up there with them. I can’t believe he’s still in that team, he got found out how overrated he was when he came across from Brisbane?? Perfect proof that teams win premierships. I’ve given up on the umpiring. Gieschen reckons they don’t guess, he should watch that a few times!! Again plenty of potential displayed but I just don’t like watching them kick it down the throat of opposition palyers time and again. As bad as Ray Hall is, surely we would be lookign better down back with his height?? |

Topic: The 2007 Tiggie Train Why is ti always the hacks that shouldn’t be playing tear us apart. Headland is an over-rated footballer and he manages to have the game of his career against us, wtf??? Surely we’re tanking. Hopefully the young guys will be better for it next year and learn how to hit a few targets, and work out that you need to kick it to someone, not just space. We’re lacking down back and really need some talls to help improve our situation. With Simmonds and Knobel back for the second half and hopefully Brown, we’ll be better placed to shape the top 8!! |

Topic: The 2007 Tiggie Train Drew, have you been reading this! Bit of a blast from the past. Pettifer has also been copping a hiding over there. I always thought he was hard at it, but alot of guys made mention he shirks more than he should. I knew he wasn’t the hardest chaser and thought that was were alot of his criticism was coming from. Fremantle should be a good game this week, I have the feeling though we might go back to teh Tigers of old and Fremantle will find some form against us. Pavlich & Tarrant aren’t far away from kicking bags!! |

Topic: The 2007 Tiggie Train Interesting article in the Australian this morning. http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,20867,21856393-5012432,00.html This quote from Terry Wallace shows how bad things got at the tiges. “Go back 18 months and we didn’t have a full-time recruiter at all. We didn’t have a full list of rookies, let alone a recruiter to pick the list of rookies.” |

I’m a big fan of Pettifer, he works hard and while looking unco, can generally come away with the ball. His only problem IMO is his concern over telling the umpires how to do their job. To me he looks like he loves his footy and is playing to win. Wish I could say the same for a few other guys out there who are blinded by the fact they’re playing AFL. They play like they’ve forgotten that hard work got them there, and its whats going to keep them there!!!! |

Topic: The 2007 Tiggie Train again, you blokes sell Pettifer short – I thought he was pretty good again and showed plenty of fight. Oh and I was at the game – Pettifer had 20m on his opponent when Johnson put it down Drummonds throat, should have given him an absolute gobful, doesn’t matter if he’s the skipper. For proof, check out the absolute tongue lashing Aker gave Johnson when he twice went for miracle goals with Aker unmarked at the top of the square….. |

Topic: The 2007 Tiggie Train a happy medium mate. A few chances is fair enough, but one game? that skipper really leads by example, perhaps the worst kick under pressure I’ve seen since Tarrant on friday night! |

Topic: The 2007 Tiggie Train Totally dumbfounded by the decision to sack Reiwolt after one game, especially given the other more established players they’ve been prepared to carry at some point this year. Not the best for the young blokes confidence, nothing worse than thinking you’re playing for your spot every week. |

Topic: The 2007 Tiggie Train What hope is there for the game this year!!!! KB must be sitting back smiling, bit of pay back for when Richmond sacked him?? Should he be welcome back at the club?? Anyone who holds a grudge as long as he did surely isn’t worth having around. If it were me, I’d show him the door, his attitude cannot be healthy with such impressionable young fellas around. |
