Topic: Help with swing plane Doing things in slow mo is very helpful. It is also a good idea to make the slow motion moves starting from a chipping motion until it is always on plane. Then into Pitching and up the power chain. It takes patience but it can be learned. Do it with flashlights as per the drill in The Plane Series of articles in the Golf School. The most common mistake it to spin the entire torso and hips from the top, vs a slight target side hip bump which allows the right shoulder to drive down plane with a heap of room to attack the ball properly with. If you spin the entire torso from the get so, you are OTT. The second most common fault is from the top the arms cast throwing the left arm off your chest and that too is OTT. |
