Topic: British Open TV coverage Foxtel at 4pm? It’s 4:09 now! Time to go to the inlaws. There are some advantages to my “Everybody loves Raymond” housing situation when you don’t have Foxtel. |

Topic: British Open TV coverage Love the british commentator with their description of the flora and fauna , the understanding of the course and a bit of history on players. Can you imagine Johnny Miller commenting …...I`d turn off Foxtel coverage in Perth starts at 4pm yeha |

Topic: British Open TV coverage I’ve been watching it on fox today, the brits seem to follow one player for longer (i.e. if he is looking at his lie for 30 secs instead of changing camera to another player they’ll stay on the first player.) Classic example Rocco Mediate played a nice little chip over a bunker and they zoomed in to see is face, kept it on him tight for abt45 seconds in which time you saw him spit four times, pick his nose and watch his players partner play up to the pin (the only reason I knew his playing partner had played a shot was because Rocco stopped picking his nose and his eyes followed the path of the ball), they then finally zoom out and see the playing partners ball come to rest next to the pin |

Topic: British Open TV coverage Are channel nine showing the golf earlier on HD like Ten has done in the past? It is just exhausting watching le tour de France and the golf with a new born in the house. Ari Gold |

Topic: British Open TV coverage I wish I had Foxtel – the Open is on in Melbourne at 3.30pm as they start teeing off at 6.30am. Had to wait until midnight for it to come on Ch 9. Great to watch – I love it. I love the understated and restrained Brit commentators, unlike the sugar-sweet sychophants in the US, esp at the Masters. Tossers. Saturday night will be great – Wallabies vs Sprinboks, the Open and the Tour de France all on telly. |

Topic: British Open TV coverage Here in Adelaide we had to wait for Nightline to finish, so it didn;t start until almost midnight. Geez, I love Foxtel IQ. I was able to watch 4 hours of coverage in 1 hour! Even at 6x, I didn’t miss a thing. Oh, and it wasn’t Ken Sutcliffe. |

Topic: British Open TV coverage Yep I’ll be watching it on fox. There is so much golf on Austar it is unbelievable. It is worth the $52 a month for the golf alone. especially when i cant get out and play much at the moment. Currently I am relying on Austar and the xbox for my golf fix. |

Topic: British Open TV coverage I reckon for golf overseas its actually better to dealy the telcast to say start at 3 am to 8.30 pm in the morning…that way you can get up early and watch it…. I liked the US open times…got to see a lot of golf that way whoever commenates will talk to much…I reckon moden commentators talk too much there are times when there doesnt need to be somone nattering on so long as you have the scores up and while Im at why cant they have a watermark type leaderboard in the corner so at all times we can see who is leading….much like you get on the internet… cant believe the baffoons who telecast golf dont think of that….I want to know whos winning at all times |
