No prob, I suppose I should lighten up a bit. Just didn’t see the need in the context of what was being spoken about. She is still someones daughter and even though light hearted, disrespect is something that is garnered by ones own activities, not something that should be assigned to you by unknowing others.

Sheesh, I’m sounding like I’ve had too much influence from WYD. Anyway, no harm done, one day you also may have daughters.

I remember reading or hearing that Michelle was signed up to compete in 8 or so PGA Tour events over a 1 – 2 year period. This being the case all she is doing is fulfilling her contractual obligations.

Her game has fallen away, and I would think that even she would be a little embarrased about the situtation. To bag her out is a little tough in my opinion and I hope she gets her game back and starts to perform on the LPGA.

I was glad to hear she played well over the 2 rounds last week. Why? as mentioned above the people around her giving her advice would be benefiting from her fame, unfortunately to her detriment.

re; the non-signing of the card – even Mark Allen said that event officials would normally mention to all competitors ‘signed your card?’.. before each one walked out the tent. Michelle isn’t the first person to do this…

i reckon she is the anna kournikova of the female golf circuit. Will never win anything, but will always be in the spotlight.

I feel a bit sorry for her. Thrust into the limelight at a young age and then having money and endorsements thrown at her from all directions. And no doubt getting some bad advice from agents along the way wanting to cash in on her 15 mins.

Someone just needs to get hold of her (and probably her parents too) and tell them that she needs to take a step back, get her head together and then head back to the LPGA. No doubt she is talented, just needs time for that talent to reach its full potential.

Why do they allow it – maybe Mianne Bagger would have a case having been there done that (maybe it didn’t do it!) but even Laura (how huge am I now) Davies couldn’t keep up in NSW a few years back – all publicity I think but the wrong kind!

She should be concentrating on getting her card for the LPGA tour next year. The week away from school playing in Reno could have been spent in LPGA competition.

Makes you wonder why she is ruling out Q school for the LPGA. Does she plan on trying out for the PGA tour instead?

The girl is missed up enough, she has some serious issue at the moment how can you not sign your card, she hasn’t proven anything, she is just starting to play alright after her injuries the last thing she needs to do is destroy her confidence by shooting 83-79 in a mens event. She isn’t even a drawcard at a mens event in my opinion, just a sideshow.

Surely she doesn’t need the cash.
