Topic: Golf Equipment / What shaft type to get? Shafts all have different weights and kick points to suit different swings and golfers in general. Your best bet as mentioned above would be to get professionally fitted for this set. Also from this fitting your swing speed will be taken into acount in regards to the flex of the shafts.. Good Luck! |

Topic: Golf Equipment / How important is club fitting???? When fitting golf clubs there are several measurments that come into play more so than others. The most important measurement in the distance between your finger tips and the ground when standing up tall hanging your arms beside you. I stand at 6 foot and technically should use a std ladies length club because my arms are quite long, but because i work in the industry and can fiddle around with my clubs a fair bit, i found that going to just a std mens lenght for me was fine (38”) Your best bet would be to wander into either a pro shop, golf retailer or a local driving range and get them to measure you up and see if the clubs actually need extending to suit you. Hope this helps you out :-) Paul |

Topic: Golf Talk / Golf Employment Ive worked in the golfing industry for just on 5 years now and love it, i guess it really helps when you have a strong pashion for the game and can pass on your knowledge to customers whilst they are in your pro shop or retail outlet. As long as you are confident and have good customer service skills you will be fine, because at the end of the day you are there to offer a service to the customer and they are trusting you 100% to offer the most ideal product to suit there game. Good luck with your job searching, and if you have any further questions you want to ask feel free to shoot me a PM and i will be more than happy to help you out Cheers Paul |
