Topic: The Lounge / Top Gear Australia was basically a clone of Top Gear UK…...would have like them to add a bit of a unique feel. even the characters resembled the UK counterparts. Warren = May, Charlie = Jeremy and Steve = Hammond i did however like charlies jump off the sand dune. and i’m looking forward to the ford vs holden next week |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Rust inside my shaft. titleist should be shot for the way they do theirs. there is nothing worse than a titiest wood in for a regrip. they seem to have THE WORST grip tape. and on a graphite shaft, you can’t scrape it off. most turps/citrus cleaners won’t get it off. you bust your fingers getting it off! |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Rust inside my shaft. agreed on both fronts the rust is probably not of major concern. and the goo can be removed with mineral turps. i use though, de-solv-it. its citrus based and easy to work with. |

Topic: Golf Equipment / TaylorMade Burner Draw Drivers Used them. they are MEGA shut and draw biased. if you slice, it will help. but not always fix as there is obviously swing problems causing a slice….... RRP is the same as the burner $469 i think, but you should pick up cheaper if you work with the salesman/woman. if you want one, get it soon, as they are soon to be discontinued and have not been informed of a replacement |

Topic: Golf Classifieds / Puma Tour Saddle SL - White/Green/Brown US11 - $80+PH they are not wide enough. i have a wide foot, and they are just too tight. and i take an orthotic insert, and the shape just doesn’t accomodate it. if it help, my last pair were Adidas PowerBands – which i hate and want the 360’s now – were 11’s and they were spot on. a 10UK is NORMALLY a 11US, but Adidas seem to not follow the others and put a 10.5UK as an 11US. melb users can organise a time/place to try if you want |

Topic: Golf Equipment / New Shoes - Tour 360's v Reel-Fit v Puma Tried the Powerbands – didn’t like the restriction of the sidewall of the shoe. Last pair of Footjoy’s, the leather started to peel. Comfy, but workmanship was terrible. I’m hopefully getting the Puma’s. and also considering getting the 360’s aswell. there was a deal going round from On Course Golf shops for Puma shoes, belt and hat for $150 odd…. |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Golfing Catalogues ian043 – it isn’t actually a load of crap, and very true….. account holders are not allowed to list any price expect RRP for the big name brands. all the prices you will see on big name brand gear will generally be superseeded equipment. ALL current line equipment from companies like Callaway and TaylorMade are not allowed to be price quoted in advertisements. most people quoting prices such as ebay and such are parallel imports and won’t be subject to normal australian warranty and other such things |

Topic: Golf Equipment / TaylorMade Spider Putter I’ve just received my TM Spider – having come from the Monza Corza CS with AGSI+, this putter is such an improvement. The amazing balance and control is second to none. I found perhaps, the head felt a bit light, but that is easy enough to fix. Great roll from the AGSI+, and with the balance of the putter, you find the center more often than not…..fantastic from long and short range |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Taylormade Burner Ti Fairway Wood i would have though TI, being a strong and lighter material, would make it just as good to make the CG lower….... if the head size is the same, then the TI version could redistribute the weight saved with a weight chip/disc lower on the sole of the club….. i don’t know how much your going to save or if its going to actually change the CG, but it should….... BTW….....i think the burner FW (straight Steel) is rocket…....LOVE IT off the tee and off the deck…... ordered one. The CGB Max goes too high…..burner is good! |
