I recently played in a Singapore at a brand new public course in the heart of the city. Was shocked when playing a par 3 to see two guys on their hands and knees fixing every pitch mark they could find on the green. They were there for ages! I guess that’s what $100 a round buys when combined with cheap labour!!!

Or there in the Boss’ bad books.

I found like a few other people that the x2 did shear away the cover afair bit after only a few holes, but felt great off the club, both driver and irons and really easy to see as well, i think ive converted over to using this ball instead of the pro V1’s etc that i use to use, the dury is still out though, i might have to take it out for another few rounds.

Im a greenkeeper, so i pretty much fix a fair few every time im waiting on the green for my partners to putt out.
Nothing worse then seeing a few fresh lob marks on the green when playing, Lazy bastards.

My mate and i were only talking about this same thing the other day, there should be 3 standard coloured flags for every course, say yellow front red middle and white back (well thats what is is at my course) and it should be the same everywhere so when visitors play they still know that yellow is front etc.

Im a 15 handicapper, and the weakest part of my game is probably my drives, i dont have a wicked slice but lets say it does go left to right more often than not, im thinking the taylor made DRAW burner would be beneficial to my game.
I not looking for the longest driver cause im usually up around the 250-280m mark most of the time (when i dont hit the trees).
Just something that feels nice, big head and goes straight….isnt that what we are all looking for???

Don’t take this the wrong way there is no way you are hitting 250-280 meter avg drives when this is the weakest part of your game, and you fade and slice( check the pga tour stats) unless you where down hill, down wind and supper hard fairways. Make sure you get the correct weight and the flex for the shaft.

Ok so ive had my driver now for about a yr and its formed abit of a crack(not too severe) in the heel of the club, so i told the missus “babe look at this ill probably need to get a new driver soon”, so she said yeh go ahead and look around. so i just want some advice on whats good out there. probably looking for a 460cc head (thats what ive got now so i dont want to change), and around the $150-$200 mark, what do u guys think??

I know im completely wrong, but im from a cricketing background and i just cant come to terms with any other grip then the baseball/cricket grip, anything else seems uncomfortable. But saying that my grip is working for me so im not going to change it.

Just recieved the my little package in the mail, thanks Boz.
I will be going out to play a round with a mate tomorrow and will most likely use the X-pert 2 ball and ill give a different ball to my mate to try out as well, and ill let you know how it goes.
Then i might try the Power Control balls in comp on saturday.
Loving the Hat too, this will get plenty of wear.

I had my last pair of Adidas for years and love them! Couldn’t resist when I saw Tour Metals on special though! Had to buy one white and one black pair. I’ve posted the link (hope I’m allowed to). Last week they were actually selling them for $99 each, however, $129 is still an amazing price!

Yeh i also went to purchase the tour metals when they were on special, but ended up getting the Universities instead, the tour specials looked better in the picture.so i changed my mind and got these.

Im in this catergory, im only a new member at my club and hadn’t played any games such as stableford,par,match play etc until the weekend, and as you say Janjuc the guys who i was playing with were pretty good about it and help me out with my scoring etc.

Played my 1st ever comp game today. We played stableford and i scored 30 points, i could not put one on the fairway, my putter got me out of trouble most of the time. I would have to say i played pretty average, the 1st 3 or so holes i was really really nervous but when i calmed down it was really fun.

To be more precise Mixjah it means you can have a group of either all males, all females or a mixture of both. So if you’re a mcp you don’t HAVE to play in a group with females.

They called it golf because all the other good four letter words were taken.

So just to be clear, (medley) means im playing in a mixed comp. (single) means im obviously playing for my own score and (stableford) is the type of format game we are playing. i think ive got it, and whem playing stableford do i use my handicap and add strokes to the par at certain holes??
