The X3 is a very good ball also, I enjoy the stopping power of the ball on greens while the distance is very good, also durable,

anfield
i gave an X3 to a mate of mine using a srixon soft feel.
he is an 18 marker and has had a h/cap say 6 months now.
Started on 23. He hits a loooong way.
i will use a 5i and he will hit 9i
He really liked this ball as was longer than the srixon.
think he will be using them in future too
he has yet to learn to love the ball not hate it.

Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test

Well after trialling Vision balls now for about 2 months I thought I would throw my 2 cents worth into the discussion.
Let me start by saying I am off 19 but extremely inconsistent, my iron play is probably the highlight of my game, whereas my short game needs desperate attention.
The Gel balls(clear and Pinky) are by far my favourite all time ball, long, look great, feel great through the club, very nice trajectory, extremely durable and will stop very well when hit properly(even back spin).
The UV is an awesome ball once you get past the Canary Yellow, it is long, durable and will also stop very well on greens
The X3 is a very good ball also, I enjoy the stopping power of the ball on greens while the distance is very good, also durable, but given the choice for my game, I would hit the Gel range forever
I was also sent a Blue ball to trial and these were my observations before I lost in one of Lynwoods many many water hazards!
It was very hard to pick up in the air and especially when it came down on the green from over 130m away (I found it very hard to see it land). It seemed a little shorter(almost a full club) than the other balls, but the spin on the green was very satisfying(the ball stopped, did not spin backwards).
The ball lasted very well, with very little wear on it at all.
I will be ordering more and more Vision balls from “HWCBN” and would willingly partake in trialling any and all new products
Keep up the good work YOU KNOW WHO!
I dont know a lot of technical terminology or geek speak about balls, I just know these balls agree with and improve my game

I could only add Pipp, that it is a good idea to turn it inside-out for the first couple of hours or so.
I have (actually) found this method to be very effective in washing ANY glove, but the visions do seem to respond quite well too.

I had correspondence with the importer of my glove about cleaning it, the following is the response I got which could help someone else out there as well:

Vision Glove Cleaning

We have found the following works quite well, when your glove is getting to look a bit rough and dirty just gently wash it with soap and warm water whilst wearing it as if you are just washing your hands.
Then rinse it thoroughly and dry it by hanging it in a shaded place.

I’ll soon be writing a feedback on the Vision glove that I’m testing since last week. First impression is that I’ll never buy another glove…

LAGPRESSURE

Still going strong…

What comes in the package…............................well remember Xmas as a kid. Kind of like that. All little things that can be put to good use on the course. As somebody once said “You’ll never know, if you never go”.

I was just wondering….
I was watching the WGC last weekend and notice a guy using a fluro golf ball. Was that ball a Vision ball?

The commenter (forget his name) was laughing about it at 1st but by the second day he was raving on about how good it looked.

The player was Tim Clark and the ball was a new Srixon model. Bridgestone has also released a new yellow ball, it was being played by a Japanese player in the Nationwide Tour event.

No offense but if I wanted to play a clicky ball that feels rubbish, IMO, off most putter faces and doesn’t check anywhere near the amount other balls at a similar priceline; then sure I’d play these balls. But you guys that love them so much really need to chill out when someone criticises them a little.

just out of curiosity, what are the ‘similar priced’ balls that your talking about??

power golf is accurate golf!!

the question was
“what are the similar priced balls that you are talking about?”

am interested to know too as i played an Arctic & it doesn’t click off the putter,
and you will be pleased to know it never released more than 1.0 -1.2m.
maybe you should try that ball.
so tell us, what ball do you have in mind.

Package turned up about 10am this morning.

Had to email Wayne to compliment him on his Tetris style packing skills as there was a lot in that tiny package, and a lot of it was unexpected but very welcomed.

Now I just need to work out how I can escape for a game or at least some practice time :(

Just decided to sign up to give these a whirl. Obviously cant have tested anything yet other than the customer service.

Must say its a bit of an experience ending up on the phone with the guy who runs the show. Was definitely unexpected, but very welcomed.

Seems quite down to earth and approachable and genuinely interested in ensuring that you are going to get some benefit out of the product before taking you heard earned.

Eagerly awaiting arrival, I probably should have asked how long delivery is normally :(

i was the same, was wrapped talking to the big dog at vision…
you’ll get it in a day or 2…

No still here sorry to upset the purple circle ;)

I have found all the vison balls I have played, which is not the whole range mind, clicky of pretty much all my clubs. I will pay that they stand out like dogs balls.

What was the other question.

Just out of curiosity which version of Vision do you find to be “clicky”.
