Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test PTDS1002 WOW!!! what a ball. Driving distance (GPS measured) today was 12m longer than the last 5 rounds (which were played with 2013 provvy). No particularly outstanding long-bombs to distort the figures, just good and consistently long. No massive swings through the air and the two deliberate shape-shots went where they were supposed to. Good soft feel off the irons, no judder, no click, just a nice soft feel of a comfortable strike. Full swing irons pulled up very, very nicely: about 1 to 1.5m from the pitch mark with a 5-iron and less than 1m with shorter clubs. Yes, the greens were somewhat soft but behaviour was about the same as the provvy. Putting: nice and soft (I use a scotty, no insert) with pretty good distance control. I have gotten into a phase recently of not being able to see the lines and missing putts by lips and teeny margins and today was no different, but the 12-15” past the hole was consistent today over a full variation of putting distances. Lovely feel and straight roll. I have not hit the 2013 ProV1x (which they reckon is a few metres longer than the ProV1) but I will be hitting the VisionTour1 again tomorrow and I will be testing my opinions, as formed after one round with the ball. At this stage of testing I reckon it is as good as (if not better than) the provvy in terms of: AND it is obedient “stop” (and it did) “get there” (and it did) “miss it” (and it did). The only time it did not do as it was told was when I hit a bad shot and I was heard to say “ahh, f**k me dead”...and don’t ya reckon I’m grateful for that? I reckon this ball is a winner. |

Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test Great round Boz congratz….. I had my first sub par round about 5 weeks ago on Maryborough with a 68 off the stick and actually 2 putted for a 3 on the normally Par 4 18th hole… Oh did I forget to mention that the course was only 14 holes and the 18th was played from the 150m marker due to floods :). BTW I have never lost any ball due to crows, Maryborough Crows are better educated maybe :) |

Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test Hi Guys, yes a crow proof ball is part of my R&D program. Having said that I have been playing a lot of golf this summer I was so relieved as this same lucky ball has now had 8 full rounds Cheers, |

Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test The only way I’ve seen the crow problem countered is with a cart. The cart guy hits and drives up to his ball. Everyone else then hits and cart guy races out to scare them off if they try. Not perfect. |

Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test Yea, they’ve been taking the white balls as well at the courses I play at, they haven’t been UV exclusive!! This is how I’ve been testing the UVX4 and the UV888. Sacrificing any old ball to the crows off the drive, and then using the test balls from the fairway where it’s easier to chase them off if they ‘go on the attack’!! |

Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test The crows were out a few weeks ago and got 15 balls between three of us. None were yellow and once we knew they were ‘working’ the holes nothing but crap balls were played. They’re not fussy. They will however generally go for the shiniest one first. |

Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test I have had 3 UV balls in the two lots I have received from Boz and two of them disappeared after 1 shot each to the Crows and the third lasted a par 4 and then a drive on the next hole. They are simply not an option for me. Too costly to lose in the middle of a fairway. |

Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test Sooooooo, has anyone been golfing?? Me, I’m getting scared off by crows!! But from pretty much hitting just irons with them, I can tell they are both straight ball…. They don’t seem to move at all!! From limited driver exposure, they both seem longer than all the other UV versions, it its really hard to get a guide…. (this was basically just a blatant attempt to get this thread back to the top of the page really!!). ;) |

Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test Hello fellow Vision ball strikers, I have not been in this thread for some time due to weather and generally lack of time. I don’t seem to be able to get any practice time in these days to do my 6 hole testing. Soon I will have to order some new balls from Boz, just wondering what has evolved over the past few months. I see there are new gloves /raises eyebrow the old one is the best glove I have ever had do the new ones compare? My main balls to play are the FTL and BOB ball…. I know that there were some changes happening soon but I’m not sure if it has occurred yet. Also I did test out a ball that was a very pale blue it was a fantastic ball and I was really looking forward to it being released by Boz… |

this ^^ We played in an ISG up at Cessnock in atrocious conditions last Friday, seriously didn’t stop pissing down the whole time (we only made it through 9 holes!!). Not that I like playing in those kind of conditions, but it was a little more enjoyable knowing the club wasn’t slipping all I’ve the place in my hands!! |

Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test Afternoon fellow trendsetters, after looking at my Vision Glove I decided it was time to talk to the main man about re-ordering. I said i want 2 please, he said I now have 3 different colours and now I have to pick and choose as to which one to wear…... I will be as flash as Michael Jackson, if only i could play the game all would be good… Other glove is standard colour |
