Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test Okay now for something completely different. .... Of late I have been hitting the golf ball like crap with the result being that the ball could and has gone in many and varied directions. ... So what to do. .... decided to clean out golf bag and cart of golf balls. .... good idea. ... 50 golf balls of various varieties that I have used from the Vision range and a whole stack of impostors. ... So I have spent last 3 rounds hitting different balls When Boz sends something new to try I have always been able to make the necessary adjustments quickly this ball no way known. .. Next some random thoughts on a Callaway HX Diablo ball |

Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test The X3 I was playing was white – it just seemed to be a little duller than the ball I am used to playing. It might have been a mistaken impression on my part – will see if I feel the same next time I am playing it. |

Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test Second item – Vision X3 I scored a sleeve of these balls from WINNING THE LONGDRIVE at OOM. So I thought I would give them a go to start with. My first impression began on the practice putting green with a very big positive impression – the feel off the putter face was good and it certainly seemed to hold a good line for me – at least on the putting green I was very confident of the roll and the weight needed. As for length, I certainly didn’t lose any length from the X3 – I hit some lovely drives which put me in places I hadn’t been before on certain holes. Hard to judge whether this was all due to the new ball, as my length with the driver has been improving, but it was certainly just as long as and possibly longer than the FTL. With irons and around the greens I didn’t particularly notice a great deal of difference with the ball from my normal. It had a nice predictable roll out with chipping and pitching which performed pretty much how I wanted it to. I don’t know if it was coincidental but there were a few occasions when I almost lost this ball just because it didn’t seem to pop when nestled in the rough – it didn’t seem as bright as a white as my normal ball which affected visibility on the ground somewhat. All in all, I quite liked this ball, but would like to swap it a couple of times with the FTL to improve my impressions. |

Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test Okay, so tried out some new Vision equipment on the weekend. First, the glove. I am normally a ladies medium in the glove, and found that the size 21 was a touch too big. The size 20 was perfect, but without allowing for any give. My preferred glove normally is the footjoy and I do find that the leather does give a bit after a while and they end up being a bit loose. I will be interested to see how the vision glove goes in that regard. However, given that I normally take a medium, this means that there are those that will find the smallest vision size to be too large. Lookswise I thought the glove was great. I really liked the gray. Otherwise, I thought it had a good grip and didn’t really notice or pay attention to it for the rest of the round, which I guess is what you would expect. |

Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test Finally have been able to give UV888’ and UVX4 a decent go, without being scared off by crows…....... (although the 888 ended up getting stolen at a course I’ve enever seen a crow before!!) UV888: UVX4: I’ve been lucky/fortunate/privileged enough to try a lot of ‘prototype’ balls over the years, and a heap of proto’s in this current run as well. And I’ve got my couple of favorites, and would love to see these put into production. But by the sounds of things there’s plenty more ‘happenings’ behind the scene that sound pretty dam cool….. By the way Boz, I made another interesting purchase the other day that is extremely cool, and you might be interested in knowing about…..... I’ll try and be in touch in the next day or 2 and let you know. :) |

Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test SirTopallot Good to hear that Boz has looked after you…... Story first then some thoughts. What seems a lifetime ago I decided that the way I was loosing golf balls and the need to replace same I would prefer to put my money in Australian hands rather than those who throw money at Pro’s to use their products. So to Mr Google I went and and after some searching came upon Vision and this forum. I am proud of the fact that I am VTTP 006 and that I have a mate called Wayne Bosley as a result. Balls…... Next time you go for a bash take some a a group, so if you loose one you have the same to replace it with. Vision balls will give you a consistent roll out so some thought needs to go into the landing zone but once you have that in mind it becomes second nature. Some will say and I tend to agree that the Vision ball on the putting green tends to hold its line more so than other balls…. Enjoy the experience and take note of what you throw in the bag for your next outing. All feedback here is welcome so long as it is constructive. That is how Boz learns, what might be the the Bees Knees for one might be totally unsuitable for someone else. We all end up with a go to ball in the range but aren’t afraid to try what else we have.. |

Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test It’s a nice looking pack Deege isn’t it, I liked the tees too. So, here’s an honest, balanced appraisal. I played 3 games on the weekend, and took my new Srixon Z star tour yellows and my Vision pack with me. I was rushed with a group on each game, and to be honest, unfortunately I forgot to work out which Vision ball did what before I went, but I can say: 1. I really enjoyed hitting the Srizon Z Stars and equally the Vision balls (this is a compliment to the Vision ones) Vision only feedback now: 2. I liked the feel of the Vision yellows on the outside and how they felt off the bat 3. I got good spin around the greens with both, Vision also (not sure which was more as my partner in one game lost 3 of them in the water traps!!) I’m no pro, I’m working my way up to be hopefully a consistent player, but from an amateur perspective, they looked, felt and flew great My swing speed is around 105mph and I was teeing off with the G25 driver, Cleveland wedges and a Brosnan Taipan set I used the glove, and it felt comfortable So, a good days outing and test. Sounds trivial maybe, but I liked how both balls had the logo with the arrows, so I could line up the intended path for flight off the tee And, fortunately the crows were good to me on the weekend… |

Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test Hi Chip, please send me an email and I will fill you in, I have to say though that for $38 a dozen that is a lot of golf ball Why is it that all the big companies are now selling such good I am looking to design my next updates that feel similar to these balls with controlled spin levels but with perhaps a fresh take on Thanks for asking, |

Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test Hi MR Boz, I have been using the Penta TP5 balls, which I get for around $38/dozen. I’d like to try some of your balls, what would be similar quality/performance for the same money or less? Thanks, Chip. |

Topic: Vision Golf Ball Test Sure, pegasus. I found it interesting that the vision pink golf ball (which I thought would be easy to see) I actually struggled to find when I played with it, because that pale pink tended to blend in with the eucalyptus leaves and so on. But the only reason I tried a pink ball at all was because it was in a Vision sample pack – normally I wouldn’t play a pink ball, which makes it annoying that so many of the women’s golf balls are available in pink. Anyway, I certainly find the yellow ball to be very visible, but don’t know if I will move away from using a white ball in the long term. |
