Bummer, you are right Lowdown. Pretty sure I will be watching footy on Sunday arvos.

The hunt starts again.

Was thinking that the Waterford Valley option looks ok – $200 entrance green fees when you play ($50). Might be a good option if I am not going to play 30 times a year. (roughly $1700 per annum if I play 30 times).

I am also looking at joining my first club. New to Melbourne so I don’t know the courses that well yet. Living in Clifton Hill.

The introductory offer and relatively close location of Rosanna is appealing – that is, you don’t pay an entrance fee in the first year, and you just pay the $1480ish annual sub.

But I have read some bad comments about Rosanna on here before. Anyone played there lately? If so, what did you think?

Did you end up joining at Woodlands? I have just started looking into membership options in Melbourne (vs getting a golflink pass and playing in some open competitions).

Heard that Ivanhoe have Open midweek competitions. Need a Golf Access/Link pass to win prizes, etc. But can still enter without the pass.

Just bought the FP’s and had my first game with them yesterday. The irons have been reduced (07 version).

Irons felt great. Quite forgiving. Could feel it when I hit a bad shot, even if it still went up and straight. Hit my best score in a long time.
