Topic: Lind Golf No worries mate….I’m in two minds about them myself…. Mighty….just dont know if they are for me….the 19 works ok but the 16 is tough….I was a bit unsure when I got them but thought I’d give it a go….I’m a bit of a traditionalist and like the idea of a 2 iron or 3 wood….might just keep at it for a while LOL no more wedges as I’m happy with what I have…just want to find tune the LW as I want a lower bounce! |

No thanks Walrus. Was thinking about heading back to irons instead. Just need to learn to use my hybrids better. |

because you’re giving up hybrids, or because you found some better ones, or because you need more room for wedges? |

Topic: Lind Golf I am not representing Lind. I reseacrhed clone clubs here and thought the same things you did – but decided to just go for it as they were only intended as a set for my friends and family for when they visit. you just cant go wrong for money we are talking about. Maybe you are just annoyed with yourself for spending triple the amount on branded clubs that dont make you play any better or worse. this is exactly how i feel after buying a set of standard calloway irons off the shelf 6 months ago – as a 18 handicapper – im just not good enough to tell the difference and now prefer the lind clubs. i have no real wish to up my post count discussing golf clubs with you lot. i just thought i would put something back into a thread that gave me good info in the first place. Especially considering the unbelievable case of fantastic after sales service i received. |

Topic: Lind Golf Brought the Apache’s about 3 months ago, pretty happy although the midsize grips are a bit on the thick side. |

Topic: Lind Golf The freshly sign up and post about Lind seems to be a trend in all the forums i’ve been looking at. Anyway, I did buy some blackhawk pros a few weeks ago. Got the TT Lite XL shafts put in them and upgraded the grips. Only been out for one round with them. From what i noticed if i just did a nice easy smooth swing they were long and straight. As soon as i tried give it a bit more i started to spray them. Need to test it out more. |

Topic: Lind Golf Yeah to me the irons with an upgraded shaft still represent good value for money. The drivers with an upgraded shaft ends up something like $300 or more including delivery, which isnt so good in my opinion. Still, i would definitely consider their irons, wedges and putters in the future (more likely just the wedges) and will likely soon buy the cart bag. |

Topic: Lind Golf i bought some a month or so ago and am really impressed. I got the blackhawk irons for 280 with midsize grips for my big mits and an extra half an inch on the shafts. They were intended as a second set for visitors – but i have now ditched my calloway x-18’s in favour of them. I hit them further and straighter and the shape inspires more confidence. |

Topic: Lind Golf Souly I dont think they are bad shafts but they feel so much heavier than my driver. To be honest I only noticed at the weekend after a trip to the range. I hit my driver for a while and themn got the hybrid out and it felt like a dead weight! They seem heavier then my irons as well! I’m not rushing into it but its a consideration….what hybrids are you using? |

Topic: Lind Golf walrus – i dont think id like a light hybrid shaft. its already so light compared to steel shafted irons but i was talking about steel the aerolites, as from the lind site, are above average and around as good as the DGs. the difference is something like a tolerance of 1g (plus/minus 2g as opposed to plus/minus 1g) they are lighter and promote a mid ballflight, while dgs are heavier with a lower flight the heaviness may be why the aerolites feel whippier MW but not a cheapo shaft by any stretch |

Topic: Lind Golf DGs are “better gear than standard”? They ARE the standard, aren’t they? |

The rest of my set are stiff DG 400’s. I have noticed that even being TT and being stiff, my 52 wedge is a good deal whippier than the others. That may be a good thing, it may be a bad thing, I guess time will tell. It may also be me being a shaft snob. Actually, to tell the truth, I don’t know how different my game would be with the TT aerolites compared to the DG 400’s. I presume very little. But with the DG’s I can say ‘I have DG’s in my irons, do you?’ As much as I would like to tell you different, I still like to think that I have ‘better’ gear than standard. At least I can feel confident on the tee box. The downside is when you get thrashed by some old bugger who takes a driver, 3 wood, 4 iron into a 450m par 5 and still cleans you up by 10 shots off the bat. Where does your ‘better’ gear get you then? |

Ha. I just threw out the invoice – was keeping it in case there was a problem. There isn’t. It’s great. From memory, about $90 – Graphalloy Blue Regular. Don’t know if that’s good or bad :-) I just like the result. BTW – superquick delivery. Ordered 3pm Wednesday, delivered to my door 7am Friday. |
