Sorry Dr wasn’t having a shot at you but I have meet people who do say they look stupid and have had a shot at me for the won I wear. I tell you what though, the fellow I mentioned you can tell by the look in his eyes how embarassed he feels because off his face.I bet he wishes he’d worn a wide brim hat when he was younger.

There are a lot of tree snakes at Mystic and that is probably what bit that bloke the other day. When I go after a ball I do not sneak around – I let the snakes know I’m coming so they have a chance to get out of my way!

i just put suncream on, 1st hole and tenth hole. personally i hate wearing wide brim hats, they annoy the piss out of me, i much prefer a cap or visor

Qld Cancer Council has a good range of hats and long sleeve shirts. I use this hat – available from Big W http://www.sunsmartshop.com.au/product_info.php?cPath=27_36&products_id=251.

I look like a complete dag in my anti cancer gear (maybe this is why the sponsored pros don’t wear this stuff), but it is cool with great protection.

I bought one of these (FF49). An Australian company trying to make it against imports with a quality product.

One good thing is that they come in a range of sizes. My hat size is very large, and the “one size fits all” hats are hopelessly tight.

A good quality straw type hat, I have a Wilson, with open mesh on top is wonderful on a hot day. Any breeze cools the scalp nicely…

I tried a wide brimed hat but it was too hot and generally a pain in the a* when coupled with sunglasses. I just put sht loads of sun block on to cover my head and neck and any other exposed parts.

Can you reccomend a good wide brimmed hat?

hmm..confort thing I suppose…sunscreen is just as important as shade

dont be fooled by coller cloudy days…the UV rating is still high on most cloudy days…..
