Thanks Pom. Only on par 3’s do I expect to par. I aim for bogey’s on the rest. When I get out there i’m always rushing i’ve got to think about club selection abit more. The amount of times i’ve hit a f’wood and actually made good contact are outnumered by duffed shots 10:1 but I always keep trying, next time 4 iron and wedge and save a shot.

I’m going to caboolture on thursday hopefully and i’m going to take my time and really think about each shot and see what happens. I’m really counting on being close to 100 hopefully under.

Next time you go out. Concentrate on trying to bogie every hole. Forget about trying to get pars, Just try for bogies & the pars will happen. I still remember the first round I had without a double bogie. I shot 85. You are right in saying that it,s only a few holes that get you . We are all the same mate. Go out shoot 4 or 5 pars , A few bogies & then throw in a couple of doubles or a triple to f### the whole round up completely.

I have only played 18 once since then and i’m not counting it :). At one mile i’m mostly around 45 though that’s still 15 over. Played 9 a few times at redcliffe best being 62 I nearly always have a stupid hole or 2 which blow out to 9 which makes it hard to have a good score.

I played Northlakes ,that was the 18 holes, and that course is the best i’ve played but way out of my league.

yeah, maybe we should start looking at dates and courses etc. I’d hate to get up near xmas and not follow through!!! Perhaps it could be played over a couple of courses? so maybe a round down around the coast and then one a little closer to bris, so as to accomodate everyone.

And so vicar doesn’t have the advantage of too much local knowledge :)

Sounds brilliant and a couple of months notice would be good. There are a few guys who are MIA at the moment but i’m sure they’d be interested. Somewhere in the middle between the northside and the goldy would suit me better (young fam hard to get away for a whole day) and maybe while poms down too.
